Ranked as the 37th best running back going into this weekends game by NFL Network. Three spots ahead of McFadden.
Seems low to me.
That ranking assumes he's going to lose his job due to fumbles. No other reasonable explanation.
There are a lot of reasonable explanations for ranking Ridley 37th.
You call it whatever reason you want, but we're talking about a guy that entered 2013 as a presumed lead back.
Then with Vereen and Bolden ooth missing a great deal of time, Ridley still only ended up with 178 carries and 10 catches.
You may say "the ranking assumes he loses his job due to fumbles", but the point is that he can so easily lose his job to fumbles. I'm not sure where Ridley should rank because I really just don't care. I'm not drafting him unless he's next to free. Even in that case, I don't like using a roster spot on a guy that I'd never want to start anyway. I'd rather use the roster spot on a back-up in another situation.
