Steve Smith owners, what are you doing goin forward? (1 Viewer)

OK I guess it depends somewhat on your record. For me, unbelievably I scored the most points in my league 2 weeks in a row without Smith (and my 1st round pick was Jordan ). Therefore Im 2-0 and Im gonna sit tight on him and hope he can contribute soon. But losing him has caused me a lack of depth at WR so I think Im gonna be targeting a WR3 type this week. But Im not making any panic moves with Smith.

So I just wanted to know what other Smith owners were doing now?

In my start 3 WR league (after this week should be 1-1), I have Steve Smith, Roy Williams, Michael Clayton, Jerricho Crotchery and Braylon Edwards.

In my start 2 WR league (2-0), I have Smith, Muhammad, Clayton, Kennison and Wilford.

As you can see, I need Smith back.

In the league i have him in, i have pretty nice depth at the WR position. I have been the high scorer the first two weeks as well. Just waiting until smith comes back and nobody will be able to hang with me, hopefully..........

Frank Gore is the reason I have done well to this point and will be 2-0 in the league I have Smith. However, I don't know how long, I can keep this up with T.J Housmanzadia(sp?) on my roster as well.

At this point, Cotchrey has really kept my WRs productive and he looks like he can keep it up. I might look to pick up a WR who has underproduced such as Moss or a WR #3. However, I am not doing anything desperate and won't overpay for anybody. I am basically going to try and see if I can grab another WR on the cheap and hope my starters get back on the field soon.

I'm 1-1 and will hold on to Smith all season. When he returns, he'll be huge.

I'll be 0-2 so I'll need to string together as many wins as I can. At this, I'm lucky to get a 2nd tier WR for him. That's not gonna win me a bunch of games. I'll keep Smith because I have little to lose (league where best record wins - no playoffs)

Regretably, Smith's abscence has forced me to play Antonio Bryant. I'm 2-0. I can afford to hold Smith for awhile.
