Carolina receiver Steve Smith missed the Green Bay game because of a bruised left shin, but is likely to play against New Orleans on Sunday.

"I think there's a much better chance (of his playing) this week than say, later in the week last week," Panthers coach John Fox said.

The paper is speculating from Fox's above quote, but if he plays you have to like him against New Orleans, especially if Vinny gets the start for a whopping third week in a row.Then again, I bought low at the deadline so I'm probably not as rightfully bitter and angry as season-long owners are.

Bitter is remembering how smug I was at the draft when the owner picking next when off when I selected Steve Smith. "Damn it, you ruined my whole draft. I wanted Smith. Now I'm stuck with f'ing T.O."Praying he could someone end strong when it counts, as right now he's on my bench.
