Anyone hear of FTHM? Small cap with nice growth (118% last quarter) and a crazy low P/S of like 1.5. IPO about a year ago. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a P/S that low for that high growth.
Exploding revenue with increasing losses?  Sounds like mini-Uber.

Lol. The losses aren’t bad at all. I was just intrigued by the growth and market cap. It came up in Yahoo’s list of people watched these among a bunch of other stocks I own or watch.

Damn, I went back to those Uber losses in 2019 and 2020. Those were almost as big as the revenue numbers. I’m 2020, 13B in revenue and 8.5B in losses. Incredible. FTHM with 2M in losses on 84M in revenue in the last quarter is a wee bit smaller % of revenue.

BLDP - only 80% to go before I'm even!   :hifive:

Also, sold off most SPACs today (MUDS, looking at you) that don't have targets I really like.  IPOD, IPOF now gone.  Since I have a big cap gain to work this year all these small losses are washed out.

Stayed in DMYI - really like the future of that one and will stuff it away for a decade - pure bet on my part.
I have done the same with HAAC.

Nano-Uber?

HAAC has a target?  Anything good?
Sorry. It's the only non-target spac I still own, and (assuming it eventually goes in a direction I like), it's similarly a l-t lottery ticket for me atm.

In addition to the shares I already owned,, I grabbed a bunch of December calls for a dime and if necessary will roll them if I can manage it affordably when the time comes.

If it wants to hold, I'll gladly take it, but that seems like an overreaction to PANW results (+guidance).

I concur. It was a good result but they beat revenue estimates by 1% and are getting a 10% run up. They beat earnings but sometimes I really don’t get those. Non-GAAP was $1.60 and GAAP was -$1.23. That’s a big swing.

They are a solid company and I almost bought in last year near the bottom but I’ve got so many tech/security/cloud stocks that I’m good. ZS, OKTA and CRWD are up in sympathy. They’ve been solid buys so I like the space but it’s 6% of my portfolio.

Also, AHs is a big gamble. Such low volume that it often doesn’t reflect the regular trading the next day.

CWH got a nice bump AHs by doubling their dividend. Ends up as a 5.4% based on what I bought at which is a shade under the current price. Seems like a solid dividend play. Revenue looks like it’ll be 20-30% gain but P/S will be about 0.5 and P/E is 6.57. Seems really cheap for some growth and a nice dividend. I think this is my highest dividend stock and I didn’t buy it for that, but they doubled it overnight.

Or, you know, not.
It’s hard to tell. I’ve noticed a bunch of pops (like GLBE) that disappeared quickly. I do think the retail investor phenomenon is creating serious volatility. Their results IMHO, weren’t close to some of the massive beats that get you a 10-20% pop. I’m having another really nice day so maybe it got an extra big bump because of yesterday and today’s overall nice days.

GO DONKEY KONG!

BTW, there's no way Moderna doesn't get FDA approval, right?  Have not followed this at all.  All I know is they were about a month behind Pfizer in the approval process, correct?

DKNG up big today (so far).

+ 4%
Scuttlebutt is that the NFL betting will go from 10B to 20B from Sept-Dec this season in states where gambling is legal.  Not all on DKNG, but overall.  Expected revenue guidance to go up 10%.  I'll see if I can dig up the article on Bloom.  Also a good sized position for me, so LESSSSSSSSSSSSGOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

HEY EVERYBODY LOOK AT ME!!!1!!11!

I'm entering uncharted territory.  My $PBYA has hit 12x the cost basis and is now ~10% of my day-trading portfolio.  At the moment I could sell it for a really nice vacation for a family of five.  My gut is telling me not to sell and wait.  The reason being is that the company looks to be an excellent idea with a civic value to the country.  It also seems to be well run such that the market cap is reasonable.  There hasnt been a major dilution event, however those are inevitable to a degree.  My hope being the leaders of the company want to truly grow the business and not get rich quick.  The stock doesnt seem to be slowing and is trading at just under 2cents.  Volume seems to be quite high every day which I will take as a good sign.

Anyone have any signs to look for when companies peak?  Are there any indicators I should consider on whether to hold or sell?

Its unlikely I will be able to retire on this money.  However, my current goal is to ride this to $1 which would be some real nice FU money.

Talk me off the ledge!

I like days like today not just because pretty much everything is up a lot, but it’s fun to see people try to ascribe reasons to individual stocks being up other than “because everything is up a lot.”

Sell everything accept your initial investment, if you must.

You just don’t get the dark side of the moon synthetic swap in yuan certificates the hedgies are using.

Today was an impressive run up, but it’s all PT Barnum or conspiracy. The sheep believe and if someone offers you above market, you take it. I know the folks on Twitter and Reddit who are driving the sheep are making bundles. Go buy GME, tell you followers about the triple witching hour synthetic swap meet and sell your shares or options at a nice profit. Rinse and repeat. I think so much of crypto is the exact same thing.

The only crazier folks are people shorting this same stuff thinking it’s rational.

When you posted this in the penny thread I bought 130,000 shares @ .0016, but it sounds like you have much more than I do. Thanks for posting it by the way!

I only have $200 in it and am going to ride it and see where it goes.

Flashback to CYDY.

Sell half, at least.  There is no reliable indicator as to when things peak.

Someone in here mentioned wanting to find companies dealing with water and drought issues and stuff, specifically out west.  Did anything or any ideas ever come of that?

The levee is gonna break, or has broken already.  That was bad, sorry.  Anyway, feed me.

Sold all my HGEN today on the pop and finished with a small profit.

Good luck to all with this one - after the CYDY debacle I don't have the stomach to wait this thing out. Will deploy those funds somewhere else.

I didn't see anything. Longer term, properties near freshwater seem like a good idea. Those are much less liquid than our beloved stonks though.

Yea I am up heartily so the thought of cashing out has crossed my mind but I’m a gambler at heart. In it to win it.  #yacht
