I think winston plays a whole lot better this week in their home opener. Would look elsewhereHow does everyone feel about the Rams this week? The had a solid showing last week and are playing the Buccs without Doug Martin.

Anybody like Cincy home vs Trevor Siemian?
I'm not seeing this. Hoyer has been a decent QB. I think he plays solid in place of heartless Jay Cutler.Loving the Cowboys this week if Cutler is out.
I mostly agree, though "solid" might be optimistic.I'm not seeing this. Hoyer has been a decent QB. I think he plays solid in place of heartless Jay Cutler.
yeah its not a playoff game so Hoyer should be fineI'm not seeing this. Hoyer has been a decent QB. I think he plays solid in place of heartless Jay Cutler.
Should do ok. Don't expect much thoughthoughts on MINNY @ Carolina. Great Def but facing Cam at home with Kelvin, Olsen, but now a RBBC.
They are pretty bad against the passDo people think Raven's D is good or just got lucky because McCown got hurt after they allowed 20 points last week in the first Quarter?
By Wentz factor do you mean he'll play awesome and some how pull out a win? Cause that'd be great but I don't think that's good for Pittmissed on mia, pick up pit. the cowboys were there, but i think the wentz factor is going to rear it's head in tis game. at least i'm hoping it will!![]()
uhhh...the rookie has to play like one sometime. just the law of averages says he's due for a turnover or 2. low yardage and under 17 points is what i'm hoping for. pickings were slim this weekInsein said:By Wentz factor do you mean he'll play awesome and some how pull out a win? I do - the Redskins are hardly clicking on offense - Cousins isn't throwing any TDs - Giants pass rush and secondary improved - they were my 2nd choice if I didn't get the Fish.I didn't get the Dolphins, so I think I'm going with the Giants. You guys think they're a good pick? Cousins seems to usually struggle on the road and the Giants D looks a lot better than last year.
Yup. Giants should be goodI didn't get the Dolphins, so I think I'm going with the Giants. You guys think they're a good pick? Cousins seems to usually struggle on the road and the Giants D looks a lot better than last year.
Yeah, the Rams are not a good decision this week.need2know said:I think winston plays a whole lot better this week in their home opener. Would look elsewhere
Wouldn't call it the Wentz factor then. The guy has been their best player through 2 games. Maybe he plays like a mediocre QB but I don't think normal rookie rules apply.uhhh...the rookie has to play like one sometime. just the law of averages says he's due for a turnover or 2. low yardage and under 17 points is what i'm hoping for. pickings were slim this week
dude. we froth at the mouth at any rookies starting. he's played 2 crap teams and now he plays pit. they're gonna be down big and that pit d is gonna be coming for him hard. him being a rookie will rear it's head this game, i hope.Wouldn't call it the Wentz factor then. and since his name is wentz, the wentz factor it is!Ok.dude. we froth at the mouth at any rookies starting. he's played 2 crap teams and now he plays pit. they're gonna be down big and that pit d is gonna be coming for him hard. him being a rookie will rear it's head this game, i hope.and since his name is wentz, the wentz factor it is!
Just trying to help.2 sacks, 0 turnovers all year worries meI do - the Redskins are hardly clicking on offense - Cousins isn't throwing any TDs - Giants pass rush and secondary improved - they were my 2nd choice if I didn't get the Fish.
Yep, same here. Take away the blocked kick and returned TD and they have only 7 fantasy points through the first 2 games.2 sacks, 0 turnovers all year worries me
Lol. Me too buddyDropped NE for MIA this week. Looking like a big mistake at this point
For sure. I still think Miami is gonna score well. Probably not a shutout, but several turnovers and a def score are probableGot snaked for the Miami D, so I just made the decision to stick it out with the NE D I was planning to drop...sometimes my best FF moves are when someone stops me from doing what I think is the smart move. I'm easily my own worst enemy in this game.
Hey hey hey I gotta back my brother up! You realize the Eagles D isn't exactly the little sisters of the poor right? Don't be so sure Pitt is "gonna get up big." Also, the Steelers haven't won in Philly since like 1965. Just sayin'...dude. we froth at the mouth at any rookies starting. he's played 2 crap teams and now he plays pit. they're gonna be down big and that pit d is gonna be coming for him hard. him being a rookie will rear it's head this game, i hope.and since his name is wentz, the wentz factor it is!
+1. Trying to figure out who I can drop or if I risk dropping Fish for them next week. Would be nice to keep Fish and Wash and have CLE-CLE-TEN for the next three weeks.Watch out for Washington. They are available pretty much everywhere, and they should be a prime candidate next week vs. The Cody Kessler led Browns.
If you can snag them now, it might be a decent stash. Stay a week ahead of the others if you can.

Agreed. Isn't Hoyer's nickname "pick six"?I'm not seeing this. Hoyer has been a decent QB. I think he plays solid in place of heartless Jay Cutler.
You're thinking of Matt Schaub.Agreed. Isn't Hoyer's nickname "pick six"?
My concern with Dallas is that they're not a talented defense.zftcg said:You're thinking of Matt Schaub.
Hoyer's very inconsistent, but Good Hoyer is capable of shredding a defense. I don't think Dallas is a terrible play (Chicago's offense isn't that good regardless), but it's not like Hoyer makes them a must-start the way, say, Cody Kessler does.
I agree on this. In fact, aren't they a better defense in Week 3 over Miami and certainly going forward??I didn't get the Dolphins, so I think I'm going with the Giants. You guys think they're a good pick? Cousins seems to usually struggle on the road and the Giants D looks a lot better than last year.
Yeah, I agree that it's generally better to go with talent over situation. I'll never forget the time a few years ago when I had the Seattle D and they went absolutely nuts against Arizona. The following week, I somehow convinced myself to sit them in favor of Detroit (who was playing Arizona). I think my logic was that Seattle was much worse on the road. Anyway, Detroit crapped the bed and the Seahawks scored another defensive TD, and it cost me a shot at the championship. My concern with Dallas is that they're not a talented defense.
A good matchup isn't suddenly going to fix the Dallas pass rush and secondary. More likely it makes Chicago look better than they are.
If Jeffery is out, it's a more tempting matchup, but not by much.
I'd rather start a D like Cinci - tougher matchup, but a defensive unit that can get sacks & picks.
i love stats like this. they've played 8 times in philly since 1965. 8 times in 50 years. wtf does that have to do with these teams today? most recently in 2008. and before that, 1997. then 91, then 79!Kwai Chang Caine said:Hey hey hey I gotta back my brother up! Have the choice to go with Vikings @ Panthers or Bucs vs. Rams. Usually I go with the more talented defense but the Panthers are damn good. Anyone rolling with Vikings this week with confidence?
Always the risk playing a bad defense in a good matchup.miami is dead to me
