I guess I didn't mind the wife/daughter aspect too much. I guess if I had a vote I'd vote for less scenes of them. They do attempt to bring a family dynamic to his character navigating the oil industry. I guess in the end if you like the repeated character Billy Bob always plays your gonna like the show. If his same old same old Billy schtick is getting old your prolly gonna be bored. I'm still onboard Billy Bob!!! My only hope is that it doesn't go Sons of Anarchy on me. Sons was beautiful, but then by the end every gang, cult, radial group in the world was battling or allied with the Sons. Just way too much. Keep it simple Mr. Sheridan. ImoMany complained about this last season too. Outside of a few times, I didn't find it to be an issue. Plus they are good eye candy.first episode was a big fat meh, if the second has as much ex/daughter shtick then I’m moving on from this show. I’m not sure if it’s Sheridan trying to troll the audience or notSeason 2, Landman hits Sunday. I just saw Sam Elliott is a regular this season. Very nice. Obviously Andy Garcia will be more present this season. Everyone want to be a part of Taylor Sheridan productions.
I fear that this show will go the way of Yellowstone; cartoonish with a very thin plot that is held together by occasional 'Oh sh**!' moments
Adding more big names won't make up for that route, For me anyways.
Then again, I endured Yellowstone till the end. So I'm good for it
and Samuel L Jackson was in the most recent episode. Seems like some big names want to be part of the Sheridan universe.
