Portlandia and the Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret :pickle:
Enjoyed this a lot. Recommended.
The deaf scene at the end of Season 1 was
Every uncensored second of Will Arnett in the series is :moneybag: I don't quite recall the scene you are referring to, was it in the very last episode? I'll have to watch it again tonight. The peanut allergy scene from episode 3 or 4 was some of the best physical comedy I've seen Cross pull off yet.

Delving into Party Down for the second time. Didn't love it the first time around (got through a few episodes), but I'm finding it pretty darn hilarious this time around.
I've only seen it once, but I still highly recommend this show.
Just started this last night. I watched the first 4 episodes. Its pretty darn funny. I suspect I'll get through it pretty quickly.
The Party Down movie is in the works, apparently.

When baby is asleep, we just started Breaking Bad. 2 Episodes in and I am starting to get hooked!!!
I watched the entire series to date over the holidays. Man, is it good TV.I just started Damages and am 2 eps in. Enjoying it so far. I'm not much of a Glenn Close fan, but had no doubts that she could pull off the #####y, high-powered lawyer. One really cool scene was just her sitting in her apartment watching Home Shopping Network - no dialogue but her body language and facial expressions were those of an insecure, teenage girl. Thought it was an interesting thing to show so early and am wondering if they flesh that out later on or if I just read it wrong.

Kill The Irishman looks good...anyone see it?
Saw it. Enjoyed it. I question it's historical accuracy and the presentation was a bit simplistic but I'm a Ray Stevenson fan and it was a fun watch him be a bad ###.
Not trying to spoil the fun, but Kill the Irishman is poorly acted and poorly written.
The pacing is absolutely dreadful. They either needed to focus on one aspect or make a 6 hour movie.

Yes. That was one of several problems. Another being the director has the skill of an ABC made for TV special director.

But Stevenson was a bad ###
Right. Which is why you should rather watch him in his 24 episodes of HBO's Rome or in the awesome Punisher: War Zone movie.

The Sporting Life (1963) Richard Harris

The Killing (1956) Kubrick noir classic involving a complex racetrack heist.

When he discovers the tour of Parliament is actually a deaf tour so he pretends to actually know how to sign and then he starts talking like deaf people do. It was the funniest scene I have have witnessed in quite some time.

Case 39. Renee Zellweger, Bradley cooper. Not bad, not great. 3.5 /5

Fresh plot, but the worst part is looking at Zellweger's face all movie. She is what Lindsey Lohan will look like if she keeps up her crackhead ways. Oof.

 Bought the Blu-ray set for myself at Xmas. YOU just decided what I am watching tonight.

Dual Survival - kind of like a Bear Gryllis show, but with two men instead. Both are highly trained in survival: one is army trained, the other is more of a hippie. The whole show centers around them getting out of fixes by working together, even though they start out with completely different methods.

Worth watching, IMO.

I really like this show.

Was just in the UK for work, they get Netflix now. Was able to use my login from my US subscription with the UK database of movies/TV. My assumption is that it's a rights deal that doesn't apply there, but we Americans are getting completely jobbed on movie selection comparatively. Considering subscribing to a VPN to get a UK IP address, it's that significant. Can't remember off the top of my head, but seemed significant at first glance.

Watched Troll 2 and Best Worst Movie back to back last night. Awesome
I still could not get into Troll 2, still really enjoyed the Best Worst Movie, one of the best documentaries I have watched since King of Kong.
I'm watching this now having not seen Troll 2. This whole thing is really bizarre.

The Dentist/Actor dude seemed like a great guy but the movie is kind of fascinating in revealing him in a couple of lights. For instance I thought he really enjoyed the spotlight at first but then he shows that he thinks these folks(fans) are kind of goofballs as well along the way.

I like how the actors hadn't seen the movie or even known the name of it until years after it had been released.

Not sure if it's been mentioned in here or not, but I don't think it has:

White Collar

I just watched the first 2 shows and it's quite entertaining.

Also, I was looking around for some movies to watch with my son from when I was a kid and found these 2 that are streamed that are fun:

Short Circuit

Cloak and Dagger.

any wrestling fans need to watch the Ric Flair documentary that is now available. Tons of old NWA interviews and classic footage with Steamboat, Funk, etc.
