Does it get less boring and British over time?

Also Apple shows tend to be highly overrated so I’m probably good with my decision

We’ll see maybe I’ll give it another shot when I renew to watch Pluribus or whatever it’s called

Apple shows are all solid 5-7s for me. Above average, mostly worth watching, but never top tier. Youve mentioned things being overrated...not something i ever care about, critics ratings. I try things if they look interesting, if i like them i keep watching. If i dont i dont. If im on the fence, ill check in here. If people whos opinions i respect like something ive given up on, i might give it another try...has succeeded a few times over the years (Mr Nobody with a bullet).

Slow horses, as people keep saying, gets going after a start that didnt hook me. But then it hooked me...think i binged two or three seasons over a few weeks after that. Not boring. Stories move along with a mix of action and humor. Its not elite, but for me worth the watch.
speaking of Apple clunkers... for whatever reason, I stuck it out with the Alaska show that just wrapped its first season. I liked most of the cast, hated the woman lead (casting) and overall thought it was silly stupid... but not in a See awesome way.
Is this the Last Frontier or whatever? I watched the first episode and was thinking it was probably gonna be dumb and make me mad if I watched it all.
That's the one.

An argument could be made for it being dumb and mindless entertainment. I suppose if you dont really care about the dumb part its got some spy intrigue, explosions and guns, car chases etc.
Not my jam. Thanks.

Can't imagine Netlfix/Max going well for consumers long term. Pretty big bummer.
For the short term great news for those of us that never subscribed to HBO. Got me a lot of shows to catchup on..
I'll bet the price doubles at the same time Netflix starts bringing the HBO library over.
We only have Netflix, which we get for $11through T-Mobile and Prime which I use for books and music as well, so we're good.

I'll bet you'll be getting it for $20 through T-Mobile and Prime if this deal ever closes.
