I don't get the hate. Granted I don't own ESPN and have only really see him on Monday Night Football and back when he hosted the Stump the Schwab show, but I never had a problem with him.

Yeah I guess his catch phrases are a bit tiresome; he could do with toning it down, but besides that I think he's a good sportscaster.

After this last NFL draft Chris Berman has clearly surpassed Stuart Scott. I can't even listen a word Chris says whose so arrogant, clueless , not even remotely funny (which he clearly thinks he is) and believes it's all about him. Please put him out to pasture ESPN.

I was out of town watching a local sports news show. I forgot how refreshing it was to just watch highlights and hear a sports guy describe what was going on without all the music in the background and people screaming booolya every 10 seconds.

I know the tributes can be overdone sometimes, but in this case I'm all for it. I shared my story about Stuart in the other thread on his passing, and I won't repeat it here. But the guy was a genuinely wonderful human being. He touched a lot of people. He made a big impression on me, and it was done without any fanfare and before he got sick. Look it up. It's a pretty cool story.
