Should be expected with the flex position. I think the winners this year are going to have 3 top-15 feature backs that both didn't get hurt and played higher than their respective cost position. I gambled on MJD, Spiller, and TRich, with Lacy as my only other RB. All four of those guys have different byes so I think it worked out nicely.

Put a crap ton of thought into this, as did you all, and this was my final edition. Wavered a lot between going with 3 PK, 3 TD or both... also whether or not to carry a 4th TE. Julius Thomas was the obvious choice as a cheap TE with big upside, but I figured everyone would have him and basically negate his points, so I decided to carry a 4th. Had CJ Spiller there till near the end, couldn't pull the trigger as I'm a Bills fan and I know what happens when we get excited about someone. Fun times, I'll see how it plays out.

I'll be curious to see how many folks have Thomas and Thompkins are their teams. My guess is over 50%, Crazy value.

Swinging for the fences by taking Gordon and Blackmon hoping that they will pay dividends coming back from suspension. Core team of Manning, Peterson, AJ, and Graham should keep me competitive and I managed their byes fairly well. My real gamble is on the RB2... figure Miller should be okay, Brown should have plenty of carries sharing with McCoy in the Chip Kelly offense, and Taylor/Powell could end up starters by end of season.

For the $9 price tag, it was hard passing up the upside of Vick. Perfect boom/bust pick for your backup QB.

For example, I paired him with 2 others for roughly the same price as Aaron Rogers (I think it cost $1 more)... while we know Rogers will be great, he will also have a couple down games. Vick plus 2 others might put you in a position to have a higher average "top QB score" each week than Rogers alone. Might not, too - just another strategy in this crazy game.

Yeah, I guess I understand it more in that situation where you take 3 guys. Looking at your team, if Vick goes down or gets replaced you could still be solid with Romo at the helm and an occasional big game by Schaub

You're right, I played with it a few times without Shaub (QB3), and I just didn't like it. Especially with Romo having a late bye week, I didn't like Vick as my only option, given the possibilities you outlined.

I think the issue though is that FBG doesn't track past rosters

1. When you submit an entry from this page, all your previous entries will be erased. You will not be able to revert back to previous entries.

Each submission is timestamped. So when I got my roster information to post earlier, it timestamped my submission with a date of Thu, Sep 5th at 1:15 AM.

Unless they have a backup of the rosters as of 11:59pm ET, I dunno what'll happen. For all we know, there could be a bug with the contest submission form and that's why it's still allowing for updates to occur.

In the email that was sent out about the deadline

In order to be fair to everyone, we can't allow people to enter the contest late. Every year, we have to give folks bad news that they can't enter after they've missed the deadline - don't let that happen to you.

Be a major shame if rosters get disqualified because of having to save to get the roster summary to post for all to see.
