I play in a start 1 QB league, but like a lot of home leagues, everybody carries 2 QB's. I know most Fantasy analysts play in leagues against each other, and in start 1 QB leagues, pretty much nobody ever carries 2 QB's, and they never draft a QB early. So "you can always pick up a QB off the waiver wire" is like one of the 10 Commandments of building a roster. Not true in typical home leagues.
I'd like to suggest that as an experiment, you set up a league amongst yourselves that is generally a typical 12 team league in terms of scoring, etc, but even though you can only start 1 QB, you must roster (at least) 2 QB's. They could be 2 QB's from the same team (like Daniel Jones and Mike Glennon) if you want, and you could roster more than 2 QB's if you want. Yes, some teams in my league do carry 3 QBs. This would make that league's WW look more like the WW in a typical home league.
