Had to go with Oasis and I generally seriously dislike almost anything Gen Z likes besides their absurd rap.

Queen and Fleetwood Mac?? Ugh. Send that **** back to the kitchen and please don’t take offense but I’d like something less overdone.

Queen is okay but probably the last of the big bands I’d pick as a sort of generational agreement.

Fleetwood Mac reminds me of bad fashion, older hi-fi (not necessarily a bad thing), but just sort of a period in time and in style and class that gives me the willies. Their fans strike me as believers in astrology and prone to cult recruitment. They met in Atherton in ‘66 and SF was about to explode and so many things out of there and out of that era are just oogy.

Never dug them. Not even when I was a kid.

Thoughts on the Eagles, Flying Burrito Brothers and other bands that on the surface have nothing to do with this thread?

Heh. I think I just explained it to Doc. Oasis is selling out the Hollywood Bowl for nights on end and it’s a young, Gen Z crowd as detailed in a bunch of articles I’ve read. Young kids paying gobsmacking amounts of cash for merch wearing Lennon glasses and bucket hats.

It’s back!

Gen Z also digs Queen and the Mac.

So youve read rhat gen z likes Oasis and also likes those other bands. That's the connection?

So...these gen z people...do they also like other things?

Queen isn’t as overwhelmingly popular as the Mac as far as Gen Z goes.

Dude, they assiduously love the Mac. And they like to wear Floyd shirts.

As for what they like—they like ****ty mustaches, especially the MLB pitchers who are aces that are one pitch away from Tommy John surgery.
