**Sunday Night Football - Denver at Washington**(+6.5, 43.5) 8:20 (3 Viewers)

Well McLaurin and Surtain are both back, and likely to face off a lot. I wouldn't be shocked if that battle went to a draw. I think Denver mostly shuts down the Washington offense, especially the run game. I do want to give credit to Mariota, he's been pretty solid filling in for Daniels, especially when you look at the backup QB around the league. I bring it up, because I think that ends this week.

I think Washington's pass defense might be the worst in the NFL. I think Bo Nix is a sneaky top-5 QB this week, and I think we get a nice bounce back week from Courtland Sutton, and Troy Franklin continues his ascent. I'd be treating them as top-15 and top-25 WRs respectively this week.

This game should have been flexed out Sunday Night. Maybe they thought Daniels would be back this week?

Denver-31
Washington-10

please be right! I agree that Nix and Sutton are going to both have a huge bounce back and trounce Washington. I may be biased because I am starting them both in a must win game but I feel weirdly confident today.

Wind chill temps in the 20's
Light wind
50% chance of rain showers during the game
The field has been recently resodded , if it's wet this could cause slippery conditions
If Denver gets an early lead I expect Sean to play keep away in those conditions
But sometimes sloppy conditions act as an equalizer
Maybe..but..

Broncos- 24

Commanders- 13

It’s baffling that Sutton is completely frozen out of this offense. It’d be different if they were lighting up the scoreboard…I just don’t understand it.

1) Washington is goign to hav e to do some play fakes because when Rodriguez is in it's too obvious it's a run play.
2) Washington may want to block the LBs from running upfield unabated.

Why would Mariota throw that? That was a Brosmer level decision
He had absolutely no pressure on him and decided to scramble up into pressure and then do a jump pass. It made no sense. He could have stood back there another five seconds without a defender getting near him.

Hill leads the team in yards, touches, and YPC. Doesn’t sniff the field until the 6 mins left in the 2nd quarter.

MM makes horrific, mind-boggling decisions.

I can see why the penalty was on Bonitto, but how is there no penalty on the Washington guy who pushed Bonitto afterwards. That's a weird call and the NFL never seems to want to call offsetting on those.
