**Sunday Night Football - Denver at Washington**(+6.5, 43.5) 8:20 (3 Viewers)

i dont have a huge issue with grounding, but its a soft, tough call in a spot where it didnt need to be called against a team you already screwed once and just called a super soft penalty on
It was directly over McLaurin. It wasn’t grounding. He had a target.
I get the idea, but it was 20 feet over McLaurin head too, and landed 30 yards plus past him. Logically, it was grounding.

BUt as I said, it was a bad time/situation to call something arguable. Similar with the false start, he came to a complete stop, wasn't for a full second but you almost never see that called in any scenario, let alone that scenario. Neither call egregious IMO, but after the missed trip and it being end of game, a bad job

Washington wins the toss, elects to get the ball second.
IIRC with the new OT rules, it's very close as to which decision is favored. The logic of going second is that you know what you need
yep, no reason to ask for ball first. WHich is why I thought it was interesting the way the coin flip went. YOu can pick kick/recieve, or direction...Washington tried to pick TWO things, and ref corrected him. Denver should have taken advantage and said sure we'll kick

However, if you're playing Madden with shorter quarters, you should always take the ball first because you can use up almost all the time on a single drive and leave your opponent with no time to mount their drive
