Sunday night football Saints vs Vikings (1 Viewer)

So with 30 seconds left the Vikings decide to run with Boone and it is now half time.

They likely should have done that when they had the 1st down near the goal line before the Thielen fumble, but they didn't.

Good catch by Treadwell on the come back route.

Vikings running with Murray on 1st down so far.

Roc Thomas is out with a hamstring. Mike Boone in for a play.

Teo with the pass defensed on 2nd down.

Diggs is a bit short on 3rd down.

Someone needs to git rid of the Hill crap in the playbook
If the saints believe he could be an eventual replacement for Brees I admire them working him in in this copacity. As far as the present team goes, it seems to do nothing more than slightly slow the offense down.

CBS Sportsline is crediting the Vikings DST with a fumble recovery - at least so far this evening.   Have they made a fumble recovery?   I didn’t think so.   Fantasy owners will want to watch that.

It’s really not good.

I like me a good gadget playbook - Andy Rei/ schtick is fun to watch.

The saints gadget is like pulling teeth - it’s just so awkward & forced. And it doesn’t work that well compared to say, allowing your HOF QB to manage his offense.

to me it really boils down to that - any play where Brees isn’t behind center is a bad offensive play for the saints, whether they’re running or passing

defenses will scheme against soon enough and it will be ditched. nothing i have seen makes me think Hill can actually pass consistently at the nfl level.

What is puzzling is why the Saints would trade for Bridgewater if they planned to use Hill like this and further develop him?

If anything Teddy could use the reps more than Hill if they view him as QB of the future.

Hills does run the ball well and it works against some teams.

Meanwhile Cousins throws the pick 6 to Williams. Digs stops on his route for some reason.

As a Thielen/Diggs/Ingram owner I’m not that disappointed with that result. Favorable gameflow for all (except Ingram is a decoy/blocker today it seems)
