That's not a TD and should be obvious for the replay official to see
 It was a TD....ever so barely. Call could've went either way.
I TiVo'd it and you are probably right. It wasn't a TD, but I can see where the replay official didn't want to overturn it. An unfortunate break for the Hawks.

is that all u guys are gonna talk about... the "bad" calls that could have gone either way.. its only 7-3 .. maybe 7-6 or 7-10 soon

I don't get it, why would the ref run in like he is going to spot it, then signal TD
Because his first instincts as a Ref was to make the right call and spot the ball, then he caught himself and remebered his pre game instructions were to give any close calls to Pittsburgh.

WOW, Jackson cost Seattle a TD with his half-hearted effort. Getting your foot into the endzone in his position is not easy, but certainly doable.

So far they have defined this game. 10 points have been scored and the calls could have effectively negated or created 8

Seattle has out played Pitt this half, yet they are down 7-3.

Pitt should feel lucky to be up.

let see what happens in the second half

Well, that's some pretty poor clock management right at the end of the half.

But Seattle fans should be cheered by the way the offensive line has handled the Stillers' pass rush and negated Polamalu. Also, Jackson and Jurevicious seem to be continuing threats to beat the secondary.

If the Hawks don't fold in the face of a little adversity, this could be a whale of a second half. And that's all most of us with no rooting interest could ask for.

Not a very good half of football.
You are being far, far too kind with your words. That was an atrocious half of football. Where are the big players? Where's Loudmouth Porter? Where's the MVP?

Real shame that its 7-3 right now.

Real ticky tack offensive PI on Djax on the TD and Pitt is given a TD, yet the ball cleary didnt cross the goalline.

Fitting that the refs are negatively influencing this game, after these playoffs.

Seattle has to be getting frustrated. They've outplayed Pittsburgh through two quarters and are down 4. It will be interesting to see how they respond in the 2nd half.

Sickening to think that, yet thats really what it looked like

I agree the D Jax call was right, he pushed off. It was a light push off, but one nevertheless. . Big Ben's TD was NOT a TD. He clearly didn't get it. Sea owned the 1st half, but still down....

Interesting that he only signaled the TD when Ben moved his arm across the line...while he was clearly just lying on the ground. Very suspicious, at the least.

This game is exposing the Pitt CBs as average at best. I think far too many people think they are much better than they really are.

First half thoughts...

Darrell Jackson clearly pushed off on the TD, but he probably didn't have to. All he had to do was stop and turn around... it would've been a TD. He probably could've had a TD late in the 1st half too, but he ran the route too close to the sideline.

Seattle had plenty of opportunities to score early. They had 3 or 4 straight drives starting near midfield and managed to get only 3 points. The Steelers' defense has been awesome when they needed to be.

The Steelers are doing a tremendous job on Alexander. If they can take away Jackson with some safety help, I like their chances to cover Engram and Jurevicious.

Ben hasn't been extremely sharp, but he was looking much better as the 2nd quarter was finishing up. That seam pass to Wilson was the first pass he threw that looked sharp. He missed some open guys early off of play action, and Ward should've caught the pass in the end zone. He catches that ball 75% of the time.

To me, it looked like Ben's TD was too close to be overturned. If he was short, it was by a centimeter. If he was in, it was by the tip of the ball by his elbow. Whatever the call on the field was would stand.

A replete, but biased post.

Biased? What's biased about it?
