The hash marks are 5 yards wide. Even when they line up on one hash the tackle on the opposite side is within a yard of the other hash. No matter where the ball is before the play, the middle of the hash marks is between the tackles. Just take a look on any play, like right now.

This in addition to the two calls against the Cards that eventually had to be overturned. Crap. Can they just make the Steelers earn one of these Super Bowls?
