Thats not fair to the Steelers and Packers players. They're the ones making the sacrifice on behalf of the rest of the league. They should have just boycotted the season.

As it stands now, it's more likely that most fans will blame the owners for a lockout if it happens next year. Why would the players want to do something that would shift the anger toward them?
