Super flex 1.02 rookie draft 2025 (1 Viewer)

Hello all, what are your thoughts on the 1.02 pick in SF?

I have this very decision to make in FFPC tomorrow. I could use an RB, so Hampton was the guy I was eyeing, but the footballguys guide says Ward should be the pick. Honestly, I could use a QB as well so there is some thought to put in here. Some are also saying Hunter, however my WR spot is the strength of my team With ARSB, McConkey, Metcalf and Shakir. So I am falling between Ward and Hampton.

Where are you guys going with the 1.02.

FFPC with the small rosters is reduced QB scoring is a little less QB heavy and a little more RB heavy than traditional SF leagues, so you have to take rankings that aren't FFPC specific with a grain of salt. QBs aren't nearly as untouchable in FFPC SF as in traditional SF leagues.

I think Hampton is the easy pick in FFPC.

I am in mostly FFPC leagues, but as luck would have it own the 1.02 in a non-FFPC SF league where I have a need at RB (only have Taylor) and am okay at QB (Mahomes/Purdy) and am leaning Hampton in that one as well.

I dont think the 2025 draft was very good for fantasy prospects.

I didn't like any of the QBs. Dont really believe in any of them.

Not that excited about the WR either.

It was a good draft for defensive tackles and offensive line.

I agree with FreeBaGeL that Hamption is likely the 2nd RB.

Ended up taking Hampton @ 1.02 after a few offers were exchanged back and forth. Nobody really wanted to move up to this spot without getting a discount.
I moved from 1.02 to 1.07 this morning for Brian Robinson, 2.07, future 3rd and Shaheed. My guess is most people would prefer the 1.02 side here but I suppose I'm pretty bullish on BR and I like 1.07. Would folks call this a discount for the move to 1.02? I can see it if anyone is bearish on BR or 1.07

Personally yes I think that is very cheap to move from 7 to 2, so I would call it a discount.

Totally fair. Is it more about an indictment of Robinson or an endorsement of Hampton?

In FFPC Triflex, I was offered the 1.02 for McBride and 2.11. I replied that I felt the 2.11 was on the wrong side, and that I'd just be trading McBride for a rookie who I hoped would be as valuable as McBride.

For me personally it's both. Like Hampton, love his landing spot in a Harbaugh offense, and I am not a fan of Brian Robinson much at all.

You're right, but makes sense for him to take that shot right now while rookie fever is in full swing and see if he could get a bite.
