I can see this too.I can see your points and along with Colby bringing Tina and the massive guy going home with two idols as well. All were dumb mistakes, but in all cases it was a single move that got them blindsided so to speak. In Kass' case, this was someone who had NO target on her back and ruined what was the BEST tribal result for an alliance ever. Think about it, a 6-5 advantage that would have been 6-4 and you flushed both HII idols. That has to have been the best ever result after the merge and she bailed on that and not only painted the biggest target on her back, she also virtually guaranteed that she can't win the $1M since she has basically lost 4 of 7 or 5 of 9 jury votes (can't recall if Jeff said Sarah was on the jury).I can't go top 1. Erik giving up his individual immunity to Natalie is my #1.Probably my top 1 ever. Being blindsided and/or leaving with an II is bad, but at least those people thought they weren't going home and it wasn't like they didn't use the II the last time they had the chance to use it. Even Colby with Tina was a $1M blunder, but he still thought he would win and he should have. I would put this move on that level. She went from having an actual chance, having no target and being in the power 3 in the power 6. Heck, she could even use her blunders about wanting J-Tia off and then siding with her getting rid of strong players that weakened her tribe (e.g. they would have beaten brawn in the basketball challenge with Garrett instead of J-Tia) as a mention of how she was in control of those 3 and chose to bring Spencer on board. It would actually be true that she was the one who kept Tasha and Spencer in the game. Colby still had a shot even with his blunder. Now, she literally has no shot after having a decent one.Yep. Top 5 worst moves ever.I think that is the biggest part of the tribal. Her alliance got everything they could ever want. Both idols flushed out and they go up 6-4.That was a crazy tribal. If Kass wouldn't have been a doosh they could have weakened the other tribe as well as flushed two idols. It would have been epic. I hate that KJ felt obligated to give his idol to Tony, but he would have been trashed later if he didn't and they found out he had one.
People are blaming Kass, and for good reason... but Sarah messed things up by arguing against the vote for Jefra. Kass and Spencer were smart in thinking KJ and Tony had idols, so why not get rid of Jefra or Trish first and try to flush one out in the process? I think both Kass and Sarah screwed up.
I feel bad for Spencer. Dude has survived a terrible tribe and everytime it appears he is in good shape, wham, rug is pulled out from under him. I'm pulling for Spencer now. And Morgan has glorious puppies.
I agree with all the sentiment above, I couldn't stand Kass from the beginning. She thinks she is smart, so much that she can convince herself that she is making all the right moves and she has played about as bad as one could play the game. Going from a great position of power being 1 of 3 inside of 6 with 3 other splintered folks against a group of 4 with no more IIs and having NO target on her back at all to being #6 of 6 with a huge target on her back and minus 5 in the jury has to be one of the most epic worst moves ever.
I am pretty sure I posted a few weeks ago that the brain tribe was in control and they were until she pulled a Hunt for Red October and torpedoed her own sub. The only thing missing was Spencer in a Russian accent saying "You arrogant ###. You've killed *us*!"
Might be #3 for me. Tyson voting for Parv is still #2.
I think the single mistake where they thought they were making the right call and got blindsided pales IMHO to a move that literally took someone from a great shot at $1M to no shot.
With Erik, he had won three straight immunities easily and the next 2 both were physical. I think he would have made the finals and won easily.
you couldn't be more wrong here. Morgan is the
