That was a crazy tribal. If Kass wouldn't have been a doosh they could have weakened the other tribe as well as flushed two idols. It would have been epic. I hate that KJ felt obligated to give his idol to Tony, but he would have been trashed later if he didn't and they found out he had one.

People are blaming Kass, and for good reason... but Sarah messed things up by arguing against the vote for Jefra. Kass and Spencer were smart in thinking KJ and Tony had idols, so why not get rid of Jefra or Trish first and try to flush one out in the process? I think both Kass and Sarah screwed up.

I feel bad for Spencer. Dude has survived a terrible tribe and everytime it appears he is in good shape, wham, rug is pulled out from under him. I'm pulling for Spencer now. And Morgan has glorious puppies.
I think that is the biggest part of the tribal. Her alliance got everything they could ever want. Both idols flushed out and they go up 6-4.

I agree with all the sentiment above, I couldn't stand Kass from the beginning. She thinks she is smart, so much that she can convince herself that she is making all the right moves and she has played about as bad as one could play the game. Going from a great position of power being 1 of 3 inside of 6 with 3 other splintered folks against a group of 4 with no more IIs and having NO target on her back at all to being #6 of 6 with a huge target on her back and minus 5 in the jury has to be one of the most epic worst moves ever.
Yep. Top 5 worst moves ever.
Probably my top 1 ever. Being blindsided and/or leaving with an II is bad, but at least those people thought they weren't going home and it wasn't like they didn't use the II the last time they had the chance to use it. Even Colby with Tina was a $1M blunder, but he still thought he would win and he should have. I would put this move on that level. She went from having an actual chance, having no target and being in the power 3 in the power 6. Heck, she could even use her blunders about wanting J-Tia off and then siding with her getting rid of strong players that weakened her tribe (e.g. they would have beaten brawn in the basketball challenge with Garrett instead of J-Tia) as a mention of how she was in control of those 3 and chose to bring Spencer on board. It would actually be true that she was the one who kept Tasha and Spencer in the game. Colby still had a shot even with his blunder. Now, she literally has no shot after having a decent one.

I am pretty sure I posted a few weeks ago that the brain tribe was in control and they were until she pulled a Hunt for Red October and torpedoed her own sub. The only thing missing was Spencer in a Russian accent saying "You arrogant ###. You've killed *us*!"
I can't go top 1. Erik giving up his individual immunity to Natalie is my #1.

Might be #3 for me. Tyson voting for Parv is still #2.
I can see your points and along with Colby bringing Tina and the massive guy going home with two idols as well. All were dumb mistakes, but in all cases it was a single move that got them blindsided so to speak. In Kass' case, this was someone who had NO target on her back and ruined what was the BEST tribal result for an alliance ever. Think about it, a 6-5 advantage that would have been 6-4 and you flushed both HII idols. That has to have been the best ever result after the merge and she bailed on that and not only painted the biggest target on her back, she also virtually guaranteed that she can't win the $1M since she has basically lost 4 of 7 or 5 of 9 jury votes (can't recall if Jeff said Sarah was on the jury).

I think the single mistake where they thought they were making the right call and got blindsided pales IMHO to a move that literally took someone from a great shot at $1M to no shot.
I can see this too.

With Erik, he had won three straight immunities easily and the next 2 both were physical. I think he would have made the finals and won easily.

Also, Erik was a dumb kid, so you can forgive his mistake because he is dumb. Kass thinks she is a wizard and smart as all get up, yet she totally imploded the same way. If I were to think of it as a grenade. Erik thought he was giving his grenade to someone he could trust and that someone shot him in the back and then threw the grenade at the enemy. Kass on the other didn't want to give her grenade to Sarah because she felt she wasn't worthy enough to throw it at the enemy. She decide instead to pull the pin and drop it so she could say nah nah na nah nah to Sarah and tell her she couldn't use it. So, both of them blew up and the enemy won the battle.

Things can always change in Survivor but right now it looks like she threw away 6 peoples chance of winning for no reason other then she was butt hurt.

Agree about #1. That one will likely never be topped.

But what Kass did is #2 to me, leapfrogging Tyson's stupid vote.

Definitely understand. I guess at both points, I wouldn't have put Tyson/Erik in the gonna have a good shot at winning it group, so maybe that is why I think this is my #1.

As Mile High posted above, she pretty much single-handedly threw away her alliance's stranglehold on the game. I may be more partial to Spencer, but Spencer, Tasha and Kass could have easily controlled the game. Let Sarah lead them, get rid of the 4, get rid of Morgan or Jeremiah and then drop Sarah or keep Morgan or Jeremiah if you want Sarah off sooner. Kass would have had a great story, although she would have ####ed it up anyway, that she helped Spencer and Tasha stay in the game. If she didn't vote the way she did, they wouldn't be around. That and the fact that the 3 somehow stayed alive would have been enough for me unless I was friends with Spencer/Tasha.

That is why this is my #1 because I think her brain crew and her had a pretty clear path/strategy to get to the final 3, especially with flushing 2 HIIs out. Pretty sure that has never happened where 2 idols were played and not used in any way thanks to Tony being an idiot.

ETA: Not trying to argue at all. Everyone has their own opinion. Kass just struck a chord with me, mainly because I sort of like Tasha and Spencer now and would have been glad to see them win rather than the rest of them. Now, I guess I'll root for LJ.

Solid editting in this episode

1) quickly allowing Sarah to seemingly kill any thought of voting for Jeffra

2) the editting to make one side look frustrated when Tony and LJ played the idols when inside they had to be jumping for joy

3) the perfect sideways stare from Spencer when Jefra's name first came out which screamed "how bout them apples!"

Good stuff.

Unless this was more editting but no one knew LJ had the idol right? If that was true he could have easily not played it and then in the future if he had to use it he could just say he found it after this tribal.

Seems like every season you guys name a new "Worst player in history" or "worst move ever". Either you guys love hyperbole or have memories like goldfish.

We don't raise the bar every season. The media whores do, we just point it out.

For me, she is. I haven't seen every episode in history, but feel free to point out a case where an alliance with numbers flushed out 2 HIIs and voted correctly, yet lost the advantage due to one member voting on spite and also completely damaging their own chance to win. That was a pretty epic tribal council and as bad a move as I can recall. Whether or not you believe it, oh well, but IMHO, I count it as the worst move ever.

I much prefer Alexis or Jefra to Morgan. Even given that gif...Morgan may even slip to 4 or 5 this season in my book, but no higher than 3.
You have been formally stripped of your man card.
You have been stripped of your man card for illegal seizure of that man's card. Morgan (while hot), is no better than 3 this season behind Alexis and Jefra.
 you couldn't be more wrong here. Morgan is the

Morgan is definitely my favorite this season too, but everybody has their own taste. I could see someone liking the All-American blonde (though I personally think Jefra is a little bit generic) or the cute spunky chick with the great ### (Alexis). And as hot as Morgan is, she has kind of a weird smile where her lips kinda wrinkle and it's a little strange. But I mean ya know, boobs. So....

That is weirdly done.
I think I just had a seizure. Am I the only one that worries about Morgan's safety? For those that haven't watched, it is a seizure inducing cut up montage with rotating bullet shells and things that could be viewed as targeting graphics. Really weird.

Yeah it's completely awful. But we got people in other threads posting pictures of Tilda Swinton suggesting she's attractive, so I figured this might work for someone.

But yeah it's as bad a compilation as you can get.

So don't they usually have a jury of 8 with a 3 person final? Jeff did not name Sarah as a jury member. So:

-Either they are going to have a 3 person final with a 7 member Jury or

-They are going to have a 2 person final with a 7 member Jury.

I just want Morgan to at least make it to the Jury so I can see her come in each episode all dolled up and looking hot.

I think Morgan will make it through this week because she is not the biggest threat to either side.

That was one of the best tribal councils of all-time, but I'm still stunned at how terrible that move was by Kass. She showed remarkably low self-esteem that blinded her to how well Tasha handled the Sarah situation. "I guess I've been replaced... :sadface"

I'm guessing Kass lives with at least eight cats.

There are articles out there based on comments that Sarah made in her exit interviews that Kass knew she was bottom 3 in that 6 person alliance. The Spencer/Tash/Kass alliance was not as strong as the editing lead us to believe.

Kass only thought that because Tash did not take her side in front of Sarah. Because Tash, unlike Kass, is not an idiot and does not tell people she's plotting against the truth to their faces.

Sarah Lacina: No. Spencer, Jeremiah, and I were very close out there. And we said we’d take it to the final six as a group. Then as a threesome, we had discussed getting Kass out earlier because she was causing so many problems around camp. And not just with me, she was just wreaking havoc around camp. I knew it was not going to end up good the way it was going.

I think Kass knew she was SOL on other side.

That's from Sarah's perspective though. If I'm Spencer I'm absolutely making a final three deal with Sarah and Jeremiah even if I have no intention of keeping it.

If they are at the bottom you don't want them to think they are at the bottom. That's just smart gameplay.

It's only when you don't do that is when the people on the bottom start getting nervous and will make a move. You have to keep the people on the bottom thinking they are not on the bottom.

Agree completely. If Kass was really making that many problems, you keep her till the finals. Also, Kass isn't going to win any challenges, so another reason to keep her around.

I would almost take Spencer's reaction to Kass at tribal as more reliable than the opinion of a swing vote after she got booted. Spencer and Tasha are going to tell her whatever she wants to hear to keep her aligned with them. Spencer was shocked and

I've been pulling for LJ, but using his idol was the first dumb move that I've seen him make. there was no way they were voting for Tony. giving it to Jefra would have been at least okay, but I think keeping it hidden and undisclosed once Tony saved him was the smart play.

and as much as Tony seems like a meathead, he's really working the game out there. pulling out his idol and showing it to everyone at tribal was genius.

Was it? If Kass wouldn't have gone rogue, they would have taken out a member of his tribe because he mentioned it. If he had kept his mouth shut and played it after the vote, one of their tribe members would have gone home. His play was terrible.

Yep. Tony basically protected himself and LJ with the way he played that. There wasn't any reason (other than possible guilt) for LJ to return the favor.
