I've been pulling for LJ, but using his idol was the first dumb move that I've seen him make. there was no way they were voting for Tony. giving it to Jefra would have been at least okay, but I think keeping it hidden and undisclosed once Tony saved him was the smart play.
and as much as Tony seems like a meathead, he's really working the game out there. pulling out his idol and showing it to everyone at tribal was genius.
Was it? If Kass wouldn't have gone rogue, they would have taken out a member of his tribe because he mentioned it. If he had kept his mouth shut and played it after the vote,
one of their tribe members would have gone home. His play was terrible.
how do you figure? I think it was great because he did it to narrow their options. if you're on that tribe, you have to think that they're going after either Tony, LJ or maybe Jefra, but not know which. by showing the idol, he at least narrowed the choices to LJ or Jefra. he improved his odds from 1/3 to 1/2, with the more likely being LJ, which is why he gave him the idol.
