Are we losing interest in this? :unsure: I updated my page through last week (was outta town).Nipsy is making a run, adding an 11-0 to the previous week's 10-1. TFox is taking a dive with his 2nd consecutive 0-11.A gap is developing between the top dawgs and the also-rans. 13.5 games separate 5th place from 4th. However, as Nipsy is trying to prove, it ain't over yet!

Haven't seen any PRELIMS, but BOY, Marvin and Wayne really helped me this week since I have no flex. That's right, I have no flex. How hard is that to do! :cry:

I still have interest, even if I've fallen way behind after my injuries. I still have hope for a comeback...
 
My page is updated. Not much movement, tho TFox decided he was still around and took the top honors. Nipsey's on the climb!

Link please.I made a comeback this week going 9-2 even with no flex. I've never seen so many zeros in a lineup, but if rumors are true the I may have just broken even losing Deuce but gaining a more prominent LJ. I'M BACK BABY (thanks to Marvin and Reggie), but have a big hole to dig out of.

 
I can't believe I've hung around this long with minimal RB production but I'm certainly done now. No regrets gambling that LJ would come back to me in 6th, but initial decesion that I wrestled with to take Priest over SA will bother me for a while.On the bright side Doug Jolley is finally the starter for the Jets so .....

 
I almost used every point on my roster this week! Not a bad week either with no Deuce, no Palmer, no Bengals DEF, and no T Jones. Might be my best week.

Anyone have the fine print on this contest? Seems like the $20k contest in years past had a line, something like "Section 37, subsection A, part xviii" written in 1pt white-on-white font, stating that folks in Arizona (and a few other states) couldn't win because of how the gambling laws were written, etc.It would suck to go through these months of blood, sweat, and tears just to wind up with an FBG tshirt.Another question, weren't we to receive $75 for our draft writeups, or did they suck so much (I'm sure mine did) that the idea was scrapped? :unsure: :shrug:

 
Idea better not have been scrapped, nor would I think it would have been. I figured we would receive that after the FFL season ended and FBG's had time to do accounting, but I am curious about this as well.

There's always a chance, but I doubt it. I was thinking exactly what Bass said, I would need lower teams to outplay the top teams, while at the same time my team keeps getting 11 wins. Since for the first few weeks my team was at the top and others were at the bottom and it only took a few weeks for that to change, I think it could still be done. Not very likely, but if I keep telling myself there's a chance, I have more reason to keep checking each week. I just keep saying that once Darrell Jackson comes back, I'll be back in it! :loco:
 
Updated my page. It's quite wide now so you'll have to scroll right to see the most recent weeks, but I have some ideas in mind to hide the early weeks (viewable on demand).Well, I for one won't claim victory just yet. That's the surest way to see three or four 0-11's pop up on my score. lol I'll stick to my post in another preseason Survivor thread (it was something like "how do you predict the final standings") where I placed myself in 12th. :DMarvin showed it's possible to gain ground, cutting a 13-game deficit on RaiderGil down to just 2 with an 11-0 vs 0-11 score. He gained only 2 games on me, but that could have easily been more, no thanks to MIN D. If they score "normal", ie in the 10pt range, I come in at 3-8 instead of 9-2 this week. I feel there's still room for movement.Anyone heard from Mikey, Nugget, Gouda and TFox lately? I can't say that I've seen posts of theirs lately (I guess if I searched for 'em, probably, but I haven't seen 'em in the threads where I usually saw 'em).

 
Hey guys...I've been keeping track of this thread religiously all season. I've been living with 1 QB since week 2 and only 2 healthy RBs since Ahman Green went down for the year (Ronnie Brown was my only healthy RB last week). I'm hanging in there with monster weeks from Tomlinson and solid contributions from my WRs.With RoarinSonoran having such a solid team in front of me I can only hope that Tomlinson carries my team for another 6 weeks. I do think Marvin88 has a chance to make a run with LJ and Roy Williams reviltalizing his team for the stretch run, just hope that the Colts don't decide to start resting players week 16.

 
I like my team right now and I can do some damage, but I think I am too far back. The few down weeks I had are hurting. I think my only hope is injuries to Sonoran and/or a rare down week from his team.

It gets even bleaker for BassNBrew. I was updating my page, and noticed that the powers that be gave him three extra wins this week. :DHe should be 50-71. :shrug:If it's any consolation, I'd probably suck if this was regular FF (submitting starting lineups each week, etc). I benched Brady for Brunell, and other coaching mishaps, this week in one league. :wall: Not that it mattered, as I was smoked no matter who I started.
 
Results are up. I am coming on strong, Sonoran! But I still do not think it can be done! If you finish second you may as well finish 12th (I say "you" meaning me or anyone else). Man, I think I can make it close (picked up 6 games on you this week), but I do not think I can get there! :cry:

Looks like Marvin, Nipsey, and myself are the only ones fairly consistently above 8 wins each week, and Mikey isn't too far behind that.Wins last 5 weeks:Marvin: 48Roarin: 44Mikey: 37Nipsey: 34Wins last 7 weeks:Roarin: 64Marvin: 56Nipsey: 55Mikey: 53I see the trend as fairly stable, equal, in which case my lead should be safe. My 'Magic Number' is 33 more wins (8 per week, assuming opponent puts up 11-0's). However, this past week did prove that I can still toss up a poor score. 2-3 more weeks like that could make this more interesting, but I'm thinking that the resting of studs will prove to be the great equalizer of our scores in the coming weeks. Will lower scores by Peyton vs Harrison/Wayne mean 5-6 wins for us both, or do we have enough on the bench to still squeak out 9-11 wins yet again? We shall see.Congrats Worm!! Spoofy can still tie for the lead by running the table with 11-0's vs 0-11's for me each week, as long as everyone else above him also scores low, i.e. pretty much scoring relative to their current ranking (e.g. Mikey=1-10 each week, Marvin=2-9, etc).
 
Marvin...I had another solid week and should have finished above RoarinSoarin.One freaking TE and I would have been competitive.

What do you mean? Total points on the season for each of us, or per player, or ??? :confused:The webpage I put up has the YTD totals, as well as each week's scores. Tho, I do need to still update it for last week's results (sorry, it was a busy week at work and on the home front last week).
