By who?Meanwhile Mitt has been cautioned to stay away from CPAC due to concerns for his physical safety.
The CPAC chairman.By who?
Totally reasonable political party and not at all cult-ish behavior. He was only their Presidential nominee 7 years ago.The CPAC chairman.
"We won’t credential him as a conservative,” CPAC chairman Matt Schlapp told Full Court Press. "I suppose if he wants to come as a non-conservative and debate an issue with us, maybe in the future we would have him come. This year, I’d actually be afraid for his physical safety, people are so mad at him."

Odd. Has any democrat or the party talked like that about the house dems that voted against impeachment (even the one who switched to being a Republican)? The CPAC chairman.

I'm sorry you're going to miss out on this Aubrey. CEO put himself back in the spot light over something meaningless. Who even follows Aubrey Huff's twitter? The San Francisco Giants decided to snub former first baseman Aubrey Huff from its 2010 World Series-winning team reunion planned for this summer because of his social media posts.
Huff, 43, played for the Giants in 2010 when the team won the World Series. He batted .294 with a home run and four RBI in the series against the Texas Rangers. He was also a part of the 2012 championship team.
“Earlier this month, we reached out to Aubrey Huff to let him know that he will not be included in the upcoming 2010 World Series Championship reunion. Aubrey has made multiple comments on social media that are unacceptable and run counter to the values of our organization,” the Giants said in a statement, according to ESPN. “While we appreciate the many contributions that Aubrey made to the 2010 championship season, we stand by our decision.”
Huff offered his own statement on Twitter in response to the Giants’ decision to snub him. He acknowledged he had a meeting with Giants CEO Larry Baer and said that he was not invited to the ceremony because of his support for President Trump and his “locker room humor.”
“When I asked why I wasn’t invited [Baer] told [me] that the board didn’t approve of my Twitter posts, and my political support of Donald Trump. My locker room humor on Twitter is meant to be satirical, and sarcastic. And it was that type of humor that loosened up the clubhouse in 2010 for our charge at a World Series title. They loved it then, and it hasn’t changed. That’s not the issue. It’s politics.
“I find this whole thing very hypocritical coming from a man who has had his share of real controversy for pushing his wife for which he had to take a break from the Giants and issue a formal apology. All I did was tweet.”
Huff added that he has the support of thousands of Giants fans and that the organization was attacking his right to freedom of speech.
“I’m proud of what I accomplished in my 3 years with the Giants. I made lifelong memories with teammates that can never be taken away from me. And while I’m disappointed the Giants are so opposed to President Trump, and our constitutional rights that they’d uninvite me to my teams [sic] reunion, it shows me that now more than ever we have to stand up for our first 1st amendment rights [sic]. Otherwise, the America we know and love is already dead.”
Ugh, this is sad. Non-metaphorical head on a spike here. The CPAC chairman.

So this guy doesn't think I should be able to continue to provide for my family because I support Trump. Not proposing policy – just seeing where people are on this:
In 2021, after Trump is gone, we will be able to tell who 90% of his supporters are via Social Media records.
Should we fire all of them from any Federal Jobs, to include the military, in order to protect the Nation?

I actually take that to be a criticism of Trump firing people. So this guy doesn't think I should be able to continue to provide for my family because I support Trump.
Democrats have lost their minds.

Do you think tweeting that on his congressional campaign account was rational? The guy just sunk his own campaign.I actually take that to be a criticism of Trump firing people.
Of course it was a bad idea. Even he agrees since it looks like it is scrubbed.Do you think tweeting that on his congressional campaign account was rational? The guy just sunk his own campaign.
A couple weeks ago a Montana state Legislator said socialists should be jailed or shot, so it seems like it's going around. So this guy doesn't think I should be able to continue to provide for my family because I support Trump.

Could very well be. I know nothing about him, my first instinct would be that proposing such lunacy is too far out there and that it would have to be a shot at trump and people defending trump for firing people that oppose him.I’m a fed employee and take it as a threat
Evidently he put it up as a “poll” on Twitter and pulled it a few hours later. I’m guessing there was some blowbackCould very well be. But there are lots of "out there" congressional candidates so you might be right. I dont pkan on doing a further dig, but would be happy to read(in this thread) if other tweets of his follow along with your thoughts.
If you call 88% opposed blowback.Evidently he put it up as a “poll” on Twitter and pulled it a few hours later. I’m guessing there was some blowback

You do know there's an actual elected politician with some power like......doing that? Right now? He's not a Democrat. So this guy doesn't think I should be able to continue to provide for my family because I support Trump.

Wowza. It was "vote like us or you're a racist/homophobe/sexist/etc."So this guy doesn't think I should be able to continue to provide for my family because I support Trump.
Democrats have lost their minds.
They do...this is one candidate who got almost nonsupport for such a crazy idea.Wowza. It was "vote like us or you're a racist/homophobe/sexist/etc."
Now it's "Vote like us, or we'll try to get you fired."
But please tell me how Dems support free elections by the people.

Teens Riding Bikes With Trump Flags is the name of my new cover band.
Sadly it’s become all too common, some very sick people out there. We haven't even been keeping up with this thread.
Man Sucker-Punched in the Face for Wearing MAGA-Style 'Make 50 Great Again' Hat
Indiana couple allegedly used a car to force two teenage boys off a road, angered that the twin brothers were riding bicycles adorned with flags supporting President Donald Trump
The problem is that your man and the people around him are pushing both racism and racial discord more than ever before:I don't wear my Trump gear often, but wore my shirt this morning to the range and the butcher shop. It was all support and no disgusted looks. I was starting to hope these attacks were a thing of the past.
Id rather be attacked then give up my freedom. The problem is that your man and the people around him are pushing both racism and racial discord more than ever before:

I know that’s not your intent in supporting Trump, but I’m afraid the more he and his people do this the greater chance you will encounter hostility if you openly support him with clothing or hats at this time.
Sad that some people think a Trump shirt allows them to be an aggressor. Shameful really. The problem is that your man and the people around him are pushing both racism and racial discord more than ever before:

Huh I've been to this bar. It's an old Nashville honky tonk. Drunk woman hits man is not exactly a new take there.Man Sucker-Punched in the Face for Wearing MAGA-Style 'Make 50 Great Again' Hat
WRCBA man's surprise birthday gift led to a surprise attack at a Broadway bar.
Daniel Sprague was at The Stage bar on Broadway sporting a gift his wife gave him for his 50th birthday bash—a hat that says "Make 50 Great Again." The hat is styled to look like a "Make America Great Again" hat that supporters of President Donald Trump wear.
"People were just coming up to me and, you know, just loving the little wordplay on the hat and taking pictures and wishing me happy birthday," Sprague told News4.
However, one woman at the bar was not as amused.
"At one point," Sprague said, "A female came up from behind me, spun me around, and punched me in the face and then grabbed my hat off my head and was just yelling, 'How dare you.'"
The punch was hard enough to cut Sprague's face.
Indiana couple allegedly used a car to force two teenage boys off a road, angered that the twin brothers were riding bicycles adorned with flags supporting President Donald Trump
- CBSA northwestern Indiana couple allegedly used a car to force two teenage boys off a road, angered that the twin brothers were riding bicycles adorned with flags supporting President Donald Trump, before ripping one of the sibling's flag from his bike, police said Friday.
...
According to a probable cause affidavit, the boys told officers that a vehicle with a man driving and woman passenger followed them before the male driver pulled up nearby and asked one of the boys “if they were Trump supporters” — to which the boy replied that they were.
The driver then swerved at the boys, forcing them onto roadside grass to avoid being struck, according to the affidavit. The driver followed the boys before exiting the car and tearing off the flag from one of the brother's bikes, the affidavit states.
The driver dropped the flag, which was affixed to the bike with fishing pole, ran back to his car and drove off, “but not before running the flag over,” it states. ...
...
In a video posted to Snapchat, allegedly by the couple of their encounter with the boy, shows “the driver turns the wheel sharply as if he saw the boys and wanted to hit them with the vehicle while yelling `ya'll better get home,'" according to the affidavit. A male's voice is then heard telling the female passenger “pull that flag down" in the video which shows the female trying to reach it through her window and her saying, “get closer."
“The female is then heard saying `ya'll scared, just like your president'' and `America is not great'" followed by an expletive, according to the affidavit.
In a second Snapchat video, Perry-Jones alleged says, “Don't let me see you downtown" to one of the boys and threatens to beat him up. ...
Hey I've been to Fall River too....The victim, Air Force veteran Charles Chase, told police he was holding a pro-Trump sign Tuesday when he was violently attacked.
...Fall River police said that 27-year-old Aidan Courtright got out of his car approached Chase at the rotary of North Main Street and Airport Road, screaming “Give me the f—ing sign!”
...“Courtright then forcefully ripped the sign out of the victim’s hands, ripped it in half, and threw it on the ground,” police said. “Courtright then went after the victim, grabbing him by his shirt, knocking his hat off, and throwing him violently to the ground.”
Authorities said Courtright kicked the man “with leather pointed shoes,” while he was on the ground, and then drove away. Chase was taken to a hospital to be treated for bruising. “I didn’t know that he had lifted me up, but he apparently lifted me up and flung me down on my back on the ground,” Chase said. Police said two independent witnesses saw the attack and corroborated Chase’s story. “The victim stated that he believed that he was targeted and attacked because of his political beliefs and the “Trump” hat that he was wearing,” police said. Police were able to contact Courtright and he turned himself in to the police station. He’s facing charges of civil rights violation with injury, assault and battery on a person over 60, vandalism of personal property and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Where's the outrage for this 82 year old veteran :crickets:Oh I agree. I wasn’t really referring to physical attacks. I was more referring to people looking at you with contempt and scorn. I’m afraid that’s going to happen more often.
And it’s underserved. I suspect most people who wear Trump gear don’t quite realize how offensive it can be to others. I doubt they mean it to be that way. But it’s also very understandable why anyone might feel that way. He (not you) really has behaved very badly.
Sad that some people think a Trump shirt allows them to be an aggressor. Shameful really.
Do you know who the Schlapps are?The two competing forces collided Saturday on the Twitter feed of Trump campaign senior adviser Mercedes Schlapp, when she boosted a tweet that lauded a man in Texas in a viral video as he yelled the n-word and wielded a chainsaw to chase away anti-racism demonstrators.
A pretty rough & tumble areaHey I've been to Fall River too.
