I mentioned in another thread that we like to go to Ferg's before the game to quaff a few tall toads and then do the 100 meter mosey to the game through the tunnel. Several chimed in and said Ferg's was nasty and there was much better, we usually bring a Mazzaros sub in so we don't buy any of the food truck stuff at Fergs, just beer. So what's better? We're going to the A's game Monday nite.

If you’re just going for beer I’m sure it’s fine. I wouldn’t walk in there though. Good call on the mazzarros sub, had one this week myself.

 How come? It's a great pre-game atmosphere, it's Rays, Rays, Rays everywhere. Granted it's open air but they have standup and ceiling fans all over and I've never felt unoomfortable. They do have some smoking hot bartenders.   

We're staying at the Hollander which provides a free shuttle to the game and I do plan on visiting Green Bench too.

Pricey, but good. Bummed the other location in Brandon closed.
