According to Rotoworld and the Detroit News, Tatum Bell won't see the field again this year barring injury. From Rotoworld:

According to the Detroit News, Tatum Bell "obviously has no prospect of playing again" unless Kevin Jones or T.J. Duckett suffer an injury.

Bell was inactive Sunday while Aveion Cason served as the Lions' third running back due to his special-teams ability. Bell will no doubt wind up somewhere else next season, but it may be tough for him to find more than a backup job at this point.

I guess those Martz comparisons to Marshall Faulk were all a bunch of hooey.

I think he would be a nice fit in Dallas once Julius Jones departs. Move Barber to the starting role and spell him with tatum a few times a game.

I don't want Tatum Bell on the Cowboys in any role. He's undependable in just about everyway I can think of. The job was basically his this year, at least until Jones got back and he did absolutely nothing with it.Tatum Bell will never, ever be a starting RB in the league and I will not even draft him in the 18th round of a fantasy draft. He blew the best opportunity he'll ever have to be a starting Rb.
