Taylor Price... Anything to Hold Onto? (1 Viewer)

Anybody think that maybe this guy has kinda gotten a bad rap? I mean the physical skill set is impressive and he got some coach speak before he got cut last season from the Pats. Jags don't really blow up my fantasy football skirt but I don't think at this point he has much competition down there either. I realize that most players that leave the pats (at WR) do NOTHING once they leave but geez... I thought he showed some potential and with teams like the Bucs and of Jags putting claims on him I'm wondering if he is worth a flyer in deep dynasty leagues (12 teams 26+ man rosters).

I'm looking for some deep sleepers obviously.

How would you rate Taylor Price compared to some of these other WRs in terms of chances to make a fantasy impact in a dynasty league in the next year or so?

Carlton Mitchell (CLE)

Eron Riley (NYJ)

Brad Smith (BUF)

Marcus Easley (BUF)

Randall Cobb (GB)

Not that he had much value before, but now harder to justify a roster spot for him even in deep roster leagues.

Taylor Price will miss most of the offseason with a stress fracture

Submitted by Tania Ganguli on April 18, 2012 - 5:55pm

The Jaguars non-padded minicamp practices claimed a victim today.

Receiver Taylor Price will be out for the rest of the offseason with a stress fracture in his left foot, coach Mike Mularkey said.

Price was a third-round draft pick by the New England Patriots in 2010 but only played in four games in two years before the Patriots released him in the first week of December 2011.

The Jaguars claimed him off waivers.

Price made a leaping catch today during the morning practice, but suffered the injury during a running play.

Cobb and Easley don't belong on the same list as Mitchell, Riley, Smith, or Price. They are infinitely better options, in my mind.
