Sad Pitts owner here in a redraft. Would you give up Romeo Doubs for Njoku? I'd still have Chase, Adams, ARSB, Olave and Dotson at WR.
I’d say definitely due to position scarcity at TE.Sad Pitts owner here in a redraft. Would you give up Romeo Doubs for Njoku? I'd still have Chase, Adams, ARSB, Olave and Dotson at WR.

David Njoku caught 3-of-6 targets for 58 yards in the Browns' Week 6 loss to the Patriots.
Njoku picked up more than half of his yards on a 33-yard reception in the first quarter. Jacoby Brissett attempted to get him the ball downfield a few more times, but the veteran passer struggled to do much in this game. Njoku ranked second on the Browns in targets this week, though his six looks were only good for a 13 percent target share. He enters Week 7 as a low-end TE1 versus the Ravens.

Saw a blurb of 2-5 weeks, so maybe he comes back right with WatsonThey bye in week 9 which means we can realistically hope for week 10 at best. He’s week to week per Stefanski
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports David Njoku (ankle) is expected to miss 2-5 weeks with a high-ankle sprain.
Head coach Kevin Stefanski said earlier that Njoku was considered week to week, but further testing suggests that Njoku could miss up to a month with his injury. Njoku has enjoyed a breakout season with the Browns through the first seven weeks, ranking second on the team with 41 targets while posting a receiving line of 34-418-1. Backup Harrison Bryant could serve as a viable streamer in the Browns' Week 8 matchup against the Bengals.

Speaking Thursday, David Njoku (ankle) said, "We'll see..." when asked about playing in Week 8 against the Bengals.
Njoku noted that his ankle is feeling better every day, but Week 8 still feels like a long shot after the veteran tight end was seen in a walking boot and crutches after Sunday's loss to the Ravens. However, Njoku does have some extra time to heal up with the Browns and Bengals set to square off on Monday night. Njoku will be hard to trust in fantasy given his injury status and the fact that those banking on him will be left with limited replacements if he's ruled out. We'll know more on his status once the Browns release their first injury report, but we'd expect him to be held out for at least one week.

Browns TE David Njoku (ankle) is not practicing Saturday.
Njoku is expected to miss Week 8 after sitting out practice all week. The Browns have a bye in Week 9, giving Njoku two weeks to get healthy if he's held out. With Pharaoh Brown in the concussion protocol, third-year TE Harrison Bryant should see a full workload vs the Bengals.

Browns TE David Njoku (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 8.
Njoku will miss Monday night's game after missing practice this week. The Browns listed Pharaoh Brown (concussion) as questionable, leaving Harrison Bryant in line for an every-down role. Njoku looks on track to return after the Browns' Week 9 bye.

David Njoku (ankle) said he's planning to play in Week 10 against the Dolphins.
Njoku's status heading into Sunday's matchup against the Dolphins will be one to monitor. He suffered a high-ankle sprain in the Browns' Week 7 loss to the Ravens and was held out of the team's Week 8 matchup against the Bengals after failing to log a practice in the days leading up to the game. The Browns are returning from their bye and Njoku is now a little more than two weeks removed from his injury. If he's able to suit up this week against the Dolphins, Njoku should be treated as a low-end TE1 in a game that could require a lot of passing if the Browns hope to keep pace with Miami's offense.

David Njoku (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.
Browns coach Kevin Stefanski wasn't sure if Njoku will be able to play in Week 10. Njoku said on Monday that he plans on playing. His status is up in the air as of today. If he can't go, Harrison Bryant will get his second consecutive start. Byrant played on 74 percent of the Browns' offensive snaps before their Week 9 bye but was not targeted.

difficult question since Watson's coming back. What’s the thought on him rest of season? Better than guys like Schultz and Dulcich?
David Njoku (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 10 against the Dolphins.
Njoku didn't practice this week after missing Week 9 with the ankle. Harrison Bryant will continue functioning as the Browns' primary pass-catching tight end this week against Miami. In Week 9 against the Bengals, Bryant was not targeted. Njoku, who was bordering on top-5 fantasy status before hurting his ankle, should be stashed for a stretch run.

David Njoku (ankle) is practicing on Thursday.
It's Njoku's first practice day back from a high-ankle sprain that was supposed to cost him 2-5 weeks after suffering it in Week 7. He was officially limited. This is not exactly a guarantee that Njoku will be active in Week 11, and high-ankle sprains tend to be rough to play with. 100% healthy Njoku may not be coming this week. But this is at least a sign that he could be active and, well, you've seen what tight end looks like right now, right?

David Njoku (ankle) is questionable for Week 11 against the Bills.
Njoku practiced the last two days and should be ready to return to the lineup, and he told reporters that he would play. He was a borderline elite fantasy option before his Week 7 ankle injury, running as the Browns' No. 2 pass catcher behind Amari Cooper. Njoku is fourth among tight ends in yards per route run. Assuming he gets a full complement of snaps and routes against Buffalo, Njoku is a locked-in TE1. The Bills have allowed the seventh most tight end catches this season.

No, he did not exactly look electric in the practice video I saw of him the other day.I'm having a hard time starting him with confidence in a rough matchup first week back. Considering Juwan Johnson instead. Anything think I'm wrong on this?
David Njoku (ankle) is active for Week 11 against the Bills.
Not starting but holding on to him to see what happens and see how he shakes off the rust. I have his backup Kelce starting in his place just for this week.I'm rolling him out...more out of necessity...him or everett

David Njoku (ankle, knee) did not practice Wednesday.
Njoku returned from his high-ankle sprain in Week 11 but split reps with Harrison Bryant. The knee injury is a new addition to Njoku's injury report. With Njoku now laboring through multiple injuries, it wouldn't be surprising to see him kept on a snap-count for a few more weeks. Fantasy managers can treat him as a TE2 until he reclaims a full-time role.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said David Njoku is currently dealing with a different knee injury than the one that caused him to miss practice time last week.
Njoku is not practicing today. Per the injury report, Njoku was still working his way back from the ankle injury he suffered earlier in the year when the first knee issue popped up a week ago. He is now dealing with another knee issue, though Stefanski couldn't confirm if it would cause him to miss Week 13. Even if he does suit up, it would likely be to play a limited role once again. Harrison Bryant would start if he is sidelined entirely.

Do the rest of us a favor and don’t add anyone else. TIASon of a....First Waller, then Bellinger, trade for Goedert, then get Njoku.....TE wasteland this season
David Njoku (knee) did not practice Friday.
Njoku, dealing with a new knee injury, hasn't practiced this week and probably won't suit up against Houston. Harrison Bryant should take over as Cleveland's main pass-catching tight end with Njoku out. Bryant has seven catches for 56 yards and a touchdown in two games without Njoku last month. He should be considered a desperation streaming option against the Texans.

David Njoku (knee) has been ruled out for Week 13.
Harrison Bryant will operate as the Browns' No. 1 tight end this week against the Texans. Bryant managed seven receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown in two games with Njoku out with a separate knee injury in November. Bryant is a decent streaming option in 12-team leagues.

David Njoku (knee) was limited in practice on Wednesday.
Njoku suffered a knee injury in the Browns' Week 12 win over the Buccaneers and was sidelined for last week's matchup against the Texans. The fact he was able to log a limited practice to start the week is an encouraging sign heading into this week's matchup against the Bengals, but his status will be one to monitor throughout the week. If he's active, Njoku should have plenty of TE1 upside against the Bengals.

David Njoku (knee) was limited in Thursday's practice.
Back-to-back limited sessions give Njoku a good chance at a questionable listing on Friday. Njoku told reporters on Wednesday that he expects to play, and he'll immediately be welcomed back to the barren TE landscape as a TE1 if that is true. Njoku will be inside the top 10 at the position barring bad news on Friday.
