TE George Kittle, SF (5 Viewers)

Didn't think he'd put up a 0 but should've exercised more caution, as I had a decent backup option.
It was a totally different game script than the other Mac Jones starts where he was flinging it all over the field and a lot of that was because Kittle was back so the run blocking got better and they were able to run the ball effectively for the first time all season. Kind of sucks because Kittle being back caused less passing. I started him as well in the only league that I have him and had a decent option as well. Expected another 40 pass game. Oh well.

Kittle manager in my league is shopping him, offered me Kittle + Nico Collins for my ARSB. Not too offensive but frankly, I consider Kittle outside the TE tier where paying to upgrade is important. I'll roll with Fannin/Gadsden and hope that if Kittle booms, it's not against me.

This is 100% the way to think. Kittle is still too likely to put up a zero like last week.

#49ers TE George Kittle says he “fully plans” on playing Sunday night. Says it will be ultimately up to Kyle Shanahan but that’s his expectation.

Kittle says he has had a fully torn hamstring. Adding here: Kittle says it did not tear off the bone and because of where tear was it wasn’t the long recovery that goes with such an injury. Says he was lucky with where injury was.

This is from 3 weeks ago

Would have taken this deal in a heartbeat.

Why didn't you tell me that four weeks ago when the trade was offered? Lol.

Easy to view these things in hindsight. If offered today I'd probably take it. Still not a fan of rostering any Texans though.

I would actually feel better about my Nico shares ROS if Davis Mills was the QB. He seems to grasp that Collins is far and away his best target.

Akash A:

George Kittle was a Hall of Fame level player before Brock Purdy, but he's ascended to another tier since.

In that time span, here are Kittle's ranks among TEs:

Touchdowns: #1 (30)
Yards per catch: #1 (13.7)
Yards per route run: #1 (2.17)
Receiving Yards: #2 (3,142)

This is 3+ years of domination at the tight end position, after being an awesome player earlier in his career too.

He can achieve some special records if he continues on this tear.

Purdy has been level-changing for him.
