TE Harold Fannin Jr., CLE (5 Viewers)

I have to decide on Fannin with weather and Kittle with return from injury late Sunday.
Always avoid the guys coming back 1st week off injury IMHO, there are exceptions
i would likely take Fanin since his catches are usually in the 3-5-7 yd range, wind gusts won't stop that

Gonna be a ton of checkdowns. He should see 9-12 target range if playing from behind all game.. . Hoping Miami scores first.

It’s the QB.
This + the weather a little. I'd be suprised if Fannin Jr. was the 1st read on 3% of these plays. Plus, Gabriel just isn't throwing it to him, even when running dumpoff routes.

Doesn't help Cleveland is winning and Miami can't stop Judkins at all.

I think it was mainly the weather, plus game script, and Miami unable to stop the run. Gabriel only threw 18 passes and Fannin lead the team in receptions with 4.

Looked like they did not need him or any pass catchers today with how inept Miami is on offense

Judkins was all they needed and the defense

Gabriel seems to be a huge downgrade from Flacco for Fannin. Seems like Gabriel doesn’t rely on his TE’s much.
Fannin had 10 targets against Pittsburgh and 5 last week. They blew the Dolphins out so no need to throw much.

His first start, he targeted Njoku 9 times. Njoku got hurt the next game but still had 6 targets before he went out.

When he throws, it's mainly to the TE

I'll be starting him with McBride on bye. If I can snag Gadsden off waivers as well then I'll flex him. My team is trash and starting 2 TEs won't make them worse.
