I see Johnson as a one or two week wonder. I might be wrong. Ferguson is going to get fed as long as he stays healthy.Nothing in here for 20 days?? Do we like him or Juwan Johnson more for ROS?
Absolutely agree with this. Give me the TE that has a capable QB and in an O that just lost their alpha WR1. Fergy's targets should only go up tbh.I see Johnson as a one or two week wonder. That Jake Ferguson TD catch snaps a streak of 21 straight games without a score.
He’s been very busy target-wise in that time, just hadn’t cashed one in until now.
Sure, but he was doing just fine when Lamb was healthy and he is a TE1 going forward.I grabbed him in every redraft. I expected him to be open a lot with Lamb/Pickens, but let’s not go patting ourselves on the backs too hard - the Lamb injury has absolutely elevated Ferguson’s targets/value.
I expect that to drop off a bit once Lamb is back.
Didn’t say he wasn’t. But he’s been significantly better since lamb got hurt.Sure, but he was doing just fine when Lamb was healthy and he is a TE1 going forward.
Are there even multiple good TE options in the entire league right now?If I have multiple good options at TE I would sell Ferguson before Lamb comes back.
The point is, I don't think Ferguson will be nearly as good after Lamb comes back. I just don't think it's sustainable and I would rather take advantage of that now while is value is this high. It's not as if he's been a stud the last few years. Are there even multiple good TE options in the entire league right now?If I have multiple good options at TE I would sell Ferguson before Lamb comes back.
I seem to have been very fortunate to have drafted Ferguson & Theo Johnson everywhere. Are there even multiple good TE options in the entire league right now?If I have multiple good options at TE I would sell Ferguson before Lamb comes back.

He's a PPR godsend. I don't know. He's one of the few TE's that seems to have plays designed for him. He's not an athletic freak, but he seems to have 5 catches a week CeeDee or not if Dak is the QB.The point is, I don't think Ferguson will be nearly as good after Lamb comes back. Oh I don't deny what he's doing. Based upon his past, or so it seems to me without looking, if you're not a contender I would sell him so fast I wouldn't give him time to pack his bags. He's a PPR godsend. I don't know. Everyone is technically tradable. I'm sure you would take Taylor for Kraft if someone offered. In my big money league I have Ferguson and Kraft and I wouldn't trade either. I feel like good TE's have a lot of value.
If I had Kraft and Ferguson I would keep Kraft and trade Ferguson to help another position, then pickup Musgrave as insurance if you don't have anyone else. He's probably on the waiver wire in most leagues. Kraft's bye week is done.Everyone is technically tradable. Agreed. Hell, Dalton Shultz went undrafted in my home league, but he's been a weekly TEP contributor for me in a start-2 TE TEP league. He's about the least athletic TE in the NFL. But he gets consistent targets, which elevates his floor. He's a PPR godsend. I don't know. He's one of the few TE's that seems to have plays designed for him. I've been trying to trade Ferg as I've also got Warren. In my big money league I have Ferguson and Kraft and I wouldn't trade either. I feel like good TE's have a lot of value.
then maybe trading warren is the play.I've been trying to trade Ferg as I've also got Warren. In my big money league I have Ferguson and Kraft and I wouldn't trade either. I feel like good TE's have a lot of value.
No bites, not even nibbles.
Juwan’s value is minimal now with the other TEs getting healthyNothing in here for 20 days?? Do we like him or Juwan Johnson more for ROS?
I would still expect him to be solid, but Lamb’s return will certainly cap his ceiling. Doubt we see a repeat of Week 3 or 5, but he should still see a healthy amount of targets. Dallas D sucks too, so the game script should be positive most weeks.Ferguson has been having a great year, but I am concerned he won't be able to keep up this pace, especially with Lamb coming back. What are our expectations for him ROS and also in Keeper/Dynasty leagues?
I would be thrilled with 7/60 weekly with a TD sprinkled in here and thereI would still expect him to be solid, but Lamb’s return will certainly cap his ceiling. I think we’ll see a lot of 7/60 or similar lines, with a TD sprinkled in here or there. Which, honestly, is about all you can ask for out out of the TE position.

While Lamb may hurt his target volume, I think the yards per catch and TD's should stay the same or even improve.
He has always been a red zone threat.
For sure, which felt really fluky. He’s been on a bit of a heater lately with tds, I expect that to regress some. While Lamb may hurt his target volume, I think the yards per catch and TD's should stay the same or even improve.
He has always been a red zone threat.
He had 89 targets and 59 receptions last year w/ out a score.
Leaving out a bit of important context here. While Lamb may hurt his target volume, I think the yards per catch and TD's should stay the same or even improve.
He has always been a red zone threat.

He was solid when Lamb was playing at the beginning of the year. He'll regress a little from the recent highs, but I'd still put him in the top-8-ish.
How did he do yesterday in the red zone? While Lamb may hurt his target volume, I think the yards per catch and TD's should stay the same or even improve.

Jake Ferguson is the first tight end in NFL history with at least 50 receptions and six receiving touchdowns in the first seven games of a season.
