Taysom practicing with the QBs at the open portion of practice.
You’d still have to hope Andy Dalton goes down.Cheat code??????
FantasyPros) Saints TE Taysom Hill rushed five times for 21 yards and a touchdown in Week 4 loss to Vikings. Analysis: With Jameis Winston out, Taysom Hill operated as the primary backup QB behind Andy Dalton. Hill missed Week 3 with a rib injury, but didn't look bothered on Sunday. His rushing upside and goal line work makes him a high upside play, but fantasy managers should look for safer option at TE before starting Hill as of now.
Choo choo.
Started him because Knox was out.
Seems like more of a RB to me.He need to be designated as a QB, it is a complete joke that he is listed as a TE.
Totally unfair advantage.
Per my commish, they have to be listed at the beginning of the season as a QB. Everyone is locked to their position till next year. Was he taking snaps directly from center? Is so, MFL should be crediting the stats to team QB.
Our league made a rule before the season that he can't be started as a WR/TE (even though his only position eligibility on our site is TE).He need to be designated as a QB, it is a complete joke that he is listed as a TE.
Totally unfair advantage.
He's a TE on the team's official depth chart. That is what he should be in fantasy. Was he taking snaps directly from center? Is so, MFL should be crediting the stats to team QB.
He had as many passing attempts as Justin Jefferson this week.He threw for 22 yards today. I don’t know how any of you could say he should be a QB.
Well then by that metric, neither should Justin Fields. He threw for 22 yards today. I don’t know how any of you could say he should be a QB.
It's a heck of a number from what is often a "What the heck" position...39.08 out of my TE works
I've got about 15 total through 5 weeks. No joke.39.08 out of my TE works
Exact same hereI've got about 15 total through 5 weeks. No joke.39.08 out of my TE works
There is a position change option under the MFL Commish controls, and I have seen it used inseason in the past. But it removes the existing position, and, if you use Team QB, it appears that it does not add Hill to the NO Team QB, but rather lists him as a stand alone Team QB.Per my commish, they have to be listed at the beginning of the season as a QB. Everyone is locked to their position till next year. Was he taking snaps directly from center? Is so, MFL should be crediting the stats to team QB.
I haven't seen much of the Saints this season, does he ever actually lineup at TE?He's a TE on the team's official depth chart. That is what he should be in fantasy. Was he taking snaps directly from center? Is so, MFL should be crediting the stats to team QB.
Can we actually start this guy now?
Tell everyone you played against Hill without saying you played against HillHe has 1 target, 1 catch, 2 yards receiving. 21 rushes, 228 yards, 5 rushing TD. 1 pass att/comp, 22 yards passing, 1 passing TD.
How any league allows him to play as a TE is a complete joke!
He is not a TE, could care less what the Saints list him officially.
Any fantasy league that let's him be a TE is a joke league
Plain and simple. He should be listed as a RB
Any league commish that allows him to be a TE is also a joke
Well, the fantasy websites and the NFL depth charts are the ones that "allows" him to be a TE. If someone picked him up to use as a TE (where he's eligible) and I, as a commissioner, didn't allow it I would be over-stepping my role and looking at a huge ****-show. I'd rather bitter Guss from the internet think I'm a joke than act outside of my authority.Any league commish that allows him to be a TE is also a joke
Yes, matter of fact the announcer raved about one particular block he made as being better than all the touchdowns.I haven't seen much of the Saints this season, does he ever actually lineup at TE?He's a TE on the team's official depth chart. Obviously all of his highlights come from when he lined up at QB

That proves he's a TE. I definitely don't like it, but don't see any way to stop it as a commish since it's not illegal and it's website drive.but I'd already shot my mouth off about not using guys in the wrong position ethically

As long as you are cool with the roller coaster ride, proceed with caution. He can smash one week and be non existent another. He has 57 snaps and 22 touches through 5 weeks. Of those, 23 snaps and 9 touches came in week 5 alone while Winston, Thomas and Landry were out of the lineup and they just let Jones and Murray go. I actually played him over Kittle in one league this past week because of those lineup issues. I figured he would get more usage against a poor Seattle D. This is not something I would be comfortable doing on a regular basis, but hey, its TE, certainly a place where a roller coaster ride could be preferred over the zeros I am sucking up from Schultz in another one of my leagues...TE is my weakest link right now. Going hard after him this week. Putting a big chunk of FAAB down.
NewOrleans.Football's Mike Triplett believes Taysom Hill will "remain a huge part" of the Saints' rushing offense.
"Obviously no one can expect anything close to this level for the rest of the year," Triplett said of Hill's Week 5 explosion against the Seahawks, when he ran nine times for 112 yards and three touchdowns, adding another score through the air. "But Sunday was a good reminder that Hill has always been and should remain a huge part of New Orleans’ rushing package." Triplett said the Saints could continue leaning on the rushing attack as the team deals with a variety of offensive injuries, including Jameis Winston's back and ankle issues, Chris Olave's brain injury, and Michael Thomas' toe injury. For as long as Winston is sidelined, look for Hill -- who has 228 yards and five rushing touchdowns through Week 5 -- to remain involved as part of the Saints offense. It's a tough break for those who took Alvin Kamara in the second round of fantasy drafts.

I'm aware but when I've gotten less than 5 each week at TE except for one, it's worth the risk.As long as you are cool with the roller coaster ride, proceed with caution. I'm guessing Kamara is not super impressed either. It's one thing when there were lots of TDs to go around like in the Brees days but the "pie" is much smaller now.I definitely don't like it, but don't see any way to stop it as a commish since it's not illegal and it's website drive
He's why I talked about it earlier in our thread. Not kidding. I looked at that and said, "they're going to yank Winston out of there inside the ten and he's going to score touchdowns." Sure enough, they've gone full-bore into it.
