Team Cap / Player Contract Info (1 Viewer)

You won't really have any definite info until March. That's the beginning of the fiscal year in the NFL I believe. Anyway, it's when the bonuses not received the year before get added back into the cap pool.

Many teams tied up unattainable bonuses when restructuring contracts in '07.

considering that the bolts are the youngest team in the league, have the 2nd most money to spend and are already in the AFCCG, most of the young stars are locked up long term, the future looks really bright

It looks like they have a lot of money to spend but really they need to sign 9 players for the 53 man roster or an average of 3.67 million per player. A team like Philly only has 17.17 million of space but has 49 players signed or an average of 4.29 million. And Chicago has 19 million of space with 52 players signed.

Gee, I wonder why Joe Gibbs retired.
Same story every year...Skins will renegotiate and have lots of room to spend. I hope they are more cautious this year.
...and get a bunch of "has beens" to fill the gaps and wallow in medicority. This is why the the Skins are also usually among the oldest teams in the league. I don't believe it's a model for success.
