Reading one thread about Jake Delhomme's potential, and others about Warner/Leinart or Anderson/Quinn got me re-thinking who to target at QB.
IMO, the AZ QBs are a good target, because they're likely to produce top 10 stats and can be had at good value.
The Cleveland situation bears watching, as Anderson produced well last year and Quinn is one of the better QBs who hasn't seen much playing time yet.
Any team with Steve Smith bears watching, and Delhomme's hedge can be had VERY cheap, often on the waiver wire - just be sure to take him before any news breaks.
Then of course, there's San Fran.
You end up using two lower picks, but should end up with better production. For some of these tandems, it's essentially trading two late picks for one, and you get some injury insurance - but it will cost you a roster spot. So in smaller leagues, this is probably not a good strategy, but in leagues with deep rosters, why not?
Anyone try this in the past, or put together stats on it?
FWIW, I'm not saying there's controversy on any of these teams, but there are questions.
