GM and Capella, thanks for doing the work on this, and thanks, Harry Manback for the PM. I went through something similar, and empathize with the ####storm that shady and his family are going through. It meant a ton to us that people would be so generous, and donated time and money and food to take care of us. I'm happy to pay it forward.

Yeah, let's let this run for a few days and see if we can keep the efforts quiet for as long as we can. There's been an offer to put this link on another message board Shady belongs to, but posting it there will no longer keep our efforts secret. Which is fine, but let's let him discover this first, then post over there for more contributions, then shut it down and turn the discretionary funds over to Shady and his family.
In the meantime, there have been positive developments in Riley's prognosis and Shady can use us in his thread for support and good vibes. Feel free to direct traffic here as best you can. Look around, if you don't see a FBG here yet and you think they'd like to help, send 'em here.

What got me thinking about this was when the poor guy said he might not have enough leave to take off work. I don't know what he makes but I figured if we could raise enough money where he could tell that place to get ####ed for a few weeks or a month then great.

Harry Manback sent out the broadcast to about 200 people, to all that had replied in Shady's thread up to a certain point. I picked off one poster in the thread that posted late and sent him a PM, but man, it's tedious work trying to perform the rinse/repeat on that. ... doing the Control-F on Harry broadcast on posters at the bottom of Shady thread, and then making sure those identified had not already replied this thread.

Every little bit helps and that kid is a beautiful fighter. This from a guy that doesn't have nor want kids.
