One last story about this....

Yesterday I got a PM from a well respected, long time FBG who saw our thread in the IDP forum.  He saw our original goal of $1,000 the moment it was released on Go Fund Me and said "I want to make an offer:  If we can raise $500, I will match that $500 anonymously."

Well, I was actually working at work and missed his first PM.  Literally minutes later, he sent me a second PM saying, "Nevermind, you guys blew through your goal already!  I'll just make the donation." :)

likely wasn't kraft....he would've said "...I will match that $500 unanimously."

Under first and last name you can type in whatever you want like Don't Noonan, and there should be a memo box at the bottom you can put a note in.

 yeah I don't think the anonymous box showed up on my phoneIIt was only on the website because I went to click it and couldn't find it

 
Was very happy to contribute...with the money I piss away on BS this is money well spent.  Best wishes to Shady and his family.

I love you guys. I never saw this thread until my brother told me about it when it went live. I will still stick to the other thread and will post a response tonight when i can gather my thoughts.

I've never gotten my card denied, ever, for anything, until I tried making a contribution earlier today. And unfortunately my intended donation was nowhere near grand enough to have a limit being the issue. Seeing there was an issue with the provider has calmed my nerves.

So there is more coming.

gofundme does charge an 8% vig so we discussed other options. We considered PayPal and other sites, but we decided the potential for this site to get shared easily at Facebook or Twitter or even via text mitigated any fee. Basically, we think we will get more for him using this site even minus 8% than we will using something like PayPal which doesn't have any real ability to be shared. 

Please pass around and do whatever you can to help. Thanks in advance (actually can mean that this time)

My FIL keeps asking me who started it and I had to explain screen names and message boards. Didn't get into aliases yet lol
