My apologies. I meant the #5 overall, and their 5th rounder this season.
No way. Would have to be at least a 3rd rounder.
I'm being greedy. If that's what it costs I think Tampa pulls the trigger. Everybody is happy in that scenario, except Cleveland.
Heckert has stated there are 2 players he would be happy to get at 4.If Tampa jumps up and takes Richardson it will be fine.Imagine then Minnesota's chagrin if their plan would be take Kalil at 5 and Cleveland then trades down with Buffalo and Kalil is gone at 5.I guess they go Claiborne then and look to get a tackle in round 2 or make a trade back into the 1st round.

Should be fun. :banned:

Haven;t read through the whole thread, but I think I saw on Rotoworld, where Jerry Jones has traded 75% of the time since he has owned the team...that would be a good guess.

I heard a local rumor from a good source that the Jaguars turned down a trade already from a team looking to trade up before the draft. The story goes that Jaguars only want to trade back if Blackmon is not there at the #7. If Blackmon is taken before the Jags pick they are still fairly confident they will be able to trade back.
So Gene is fixated on one guy? Sounds familiar.

Yea, it sometimes seems that Gene's entire draft board might consist of 50 players. He decides who he likes and does anything he can to get those guys.

Well, he does trade away the farm to get who he wants so he probably doesn't need more than 50 players on his board because all his picks are given away.

Given how Khan pushed him on Tebow, I can't help but wonder if the Blackmon fixation is coming from above.

I think the Broncos will try to move down if Cox, Brockers, and Kirkpatrick are gone at 25. I am probably wrong, but that's my guess.
Vikes could trade up into that territory for a tackle if they skip Kalil with the 1st.
That's probably about where Denver would want to go, imo. My guess is they would want a lower 1st round or higher 2nd round pick to grab a guy like David Martin or Lamar Miller and maybe take a DT or CB with their own 2nd rounder while adding another pick in the process....just a bit of an 'educated' guess on my part. I could be way off
I heard on the radio this morning the Broncos were trying to move up to take Gilmore. I'm not sure how far they'd have to move up (4-5 spots?) but I could see that happening.

I think Monken has a lot to do with it.
