You haven't seen McNabb or Tavaris Jackson play this year, huh? That 4th down pass where he overthrew eddie royal about 5 feet too high on a quick out (and laid him out for a licking) was one of the worst passes I have seen in a while by an NFL QB on a very basic throw.First time watching Tebow today. He seemed not that terrible hitting quick, short passes, but horribly inaccurate for anything over about 15 yards. I did however, enjoy watching the play where he was getting sacked until his offensive lineman pulled him up like the hand of God and held him upright until he could get the pass off. Damn near completed the thing, too.

Its counterproductive for the Broncos to waste development time on him. He is clearly not the QB of their future, and not someone you want to mentor the future QB that they draft next year. It would be better for the organization to put Orton back in, or Quinn, so they can develop the rest of the team in a pro-style offense, rather than stunt everyone's growth so they can run a college offense this year.I'd give him 1-2 more games so the fans understand how bad he is as an NFL QB, then you have to get on with the business of improving the rest of the team.
the reason why you want a rookie to sit for a veteran is so the rookie can watch and learn from the veteran. There is nothing about Tebow's play that you want an NFL-caliber QB to watch and learn from.I am sure Tebow is a great guy off the field. He was a great QB at UF. He is not an NFL caliber QB. He is not the future QB of the Broncos. Why go through all the trouble to change an offense now, when you are going back to a pro offense next year? It just stunts the growth of the other players on the team.
