New Broncos VP of Football Operations John Elway said Monday that he will leave the question of whether Tim Tebow is the team's long-term answer at quarterback up to Denver's next head coach.
At the same time, however, Elway suggested that any coach hired by the Broncos that didn't believe Tebow was the solution might "not be the right one for the job." Elway conceded that Tebow "has a lot of work to do," but that the Broncos' priority will be to "make him a good quarterback." "He is a good football player," added Elway. During the Broncos' hiring process, Elway will most certainly make sure his new head coach is a Tebow believer.

In other words- Elway's gonna leave the decision to the coaching staff of whether or not to continue on with Tebow as the franchise. But you won't get hired as HC unless you're on the Te-bandwagon.
