I know it's sacrilege in FBG land but Men's Wearhouse several years ago had these great freakin' T shirts.  Perfect blend, fit perfectly.  Not plain though, mostly vintage stuff with logos like the Viper Room or something else.  I had about 5. They never had them again.  Still trying to find something I liked as much.  For the guy that mentioned that specific Nike Dri-fit, it is by far my favorite workout shirt and I would wear that feel every day.
