Tenn/Cleve tiebreakers? (1 Viewer)

It's my understanding that the Browns are in the playoffs with a Titan loss even if the Browns lose to the 49er's and also eliminated with a Titan win regardless of their game with SF. Does someone know the tiebreaker breakdown on this scenario?

If both teams lose, Cleveland is in based on conference record. If both teams win, Tennesse pulls even in conference record (Cleveland plays an NFC team), and it goes down to the next tiebreaker, which I think is common opponents. [edit: It would boil down to the fact that Cleveland lost to Oakland, but Tennessee beat Oakland. In other words, a 4-11 team would actually decide who goes to the playoffs this year...]

I guess we'll test the "All Vince Young does is win" theory again this week. I have a feeling that 1/2 Payton Manning + 1/2 Jim Sorgi at Indianapolis > 1 Vince Young.

Manning will play one series, then sit. Look for 2-3 trick plays from TN, including one unexpected onside kick early in the game. Unless VY completely gives this game away the Titans will win.

Titans play Indy tough last couple years vs starters (beat them last year in a game when it counted). They should not need trick plays to beat Indy.

This would be great. Sorgi needs a short field to get rolling.
