Terry Glenn (1 Viewer)

He had good numbers in the 6 games he played in 2004, and finished with 62/1136/7 last year, when he was ultra cheap.

TO will get tons of attention...Glenn showed some great speed last year and I think he will have some nice numbers again this year as the #2.

Anyone see any reason why he can't do 1000/6? I just checked the average ADP over at antsports and he's not even listed....so there's at least 42 WR's taken ahead of him. This is value at it's finest.

I have noticed this as well. I hope this trend continues throughout the summer.

1000/6 for Glenn?

1200/10 for TO?

700/6 for Witten?

600/4 for Crayton?

400/2 from RBs?

200/2 from Fasano?

-----------------------

4000/30 Total

I'm not saying that this is going to happen, but either Bledsoe looks to be HUGE this year or there are going to be some dissapointed fantasy owners of Dallas receivers. For you to think Glenn will get 1000/6 and still think Owens has an Owens year and Witten having a decent year, you're essenitally saying Bledsoe will be a top 3 QB.

How about this:1000/6 for Glenn

1200/9 for TO

700/6 for Witten

300/2 for Crayton

300/1 for RB's

150/1 for Fasano

3650/25. Maybe we can tone down the yardage a bit. 25 TD's can happen though.

So Julius Jones, Marion Barber, Tyson Thompson, Fasano, and Politte will combine for 450/2? I was already being conservative with my projection of RBs and Fasano. Crayton had 350/2 last year while missing 6 games, yet you think he'll do worse? If its because of injury, then you need to incorporate his repalcment into Bledsoe's stats as well.

Well, last year, all those RB's combined for 421/1. The #2 TE, Dan Campbell went for 24/1. So actually, my projection of 450/2 for the RB's and Fasano was right in line with last year's numbers of 445/2 for the RB's and Campbell. As for Crayton...he was hurt last year, but I believe the 'Boys have said they want to use 2 TE's more this year? If that's true, Crayton will see the field a lot less. Although this will mean more time for Fasano, you have to think Witten gets way more looks in the passing game than Fasano.

Even if Glenn goes for 850/6 he will outperform his ADP...I think it is likely he goes for more though.

The QB throwing to Owens usually is one of the top 3-5 QBs.

Shhh...I've been loving people sleeping on Glenn for years, let's not ruin it.

Although I am a little bit worried this year. WRs opposite TO haven't exactly put up great fantasy numbers over the years.

I've got Bledsoe going for 4,000 so it's possible.

Who's the last quality #2 WR that played across from Owens? Rice?

I would tend to think that Glenn & Witten's numbers will drop because of Owens. I really don't expect PArcells to throw much more than he did. He prefers to run and he's got the horses to do it.Now, if Jones gets banged up again and misses significant time, then I could see more passing if they fall behind in games. He may want to protect Baber some if Jones is out and that could influence his game plan to pass more. But outside of that I think it's more likely he'll run more if he can.

I think Glenn will have a huge year. I truly believe that while Owens #'s will be solid, he will not meet others expectations.

Glenn will pick up the slack. He has shown he is almost uncoverable 1 on 1. With the 2TE set Dallas is implementing opposing D's will not be able to roll safties to both TO and Glenn. My guess is that Owens gets the attention.

If you get bonus points for long TD's you should be ALL over Glenn. I have no doubt he will outperform his ADP (no matter the league scoring), the question is when to pull the trigger to maximize value.

:goodposting: I think Crayton is about a year away from starting to supplant Glenn and take his catches.
