**Texans at Falcons** (-1.5, 41.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

5 Star pick of the week for me in this one.
Take the team from Texas stright up...

Houstone- 29
Atlanta- 23

A lot of people have not seen the Stroud to Nico Collins connection but you will soon, they put on a clinic last week. Tank Dell can go off at any moment as well.
I have a knick name for the CJ Stroud- Dell-Collins trio as "CJ/DC"
I tend to agree with Rubi but I don't know about 5-star, the Falcons are a good running team and have a defense
Ridder is a bottom 5 starting QB in the NFL, Falcons are not going far with him at QB

I do lean towards Houston today, ATL scored 13 points total last 2 games combined

Texans 24
Falcons 17

As a Texans fan, I'm a little worried this is a classic trap game. So much hype regarding Stroud and the Texans this week and all signs point to an easy win. Maybe it's PTSD from the last decade of disappointment but my gut is saying ATL wins by punishing them with Bijan and their secondary giving Stroud hell. Hope I'm wrong. ATL 21-13

I own stroud and started him over fields. Oops.

And am sort of feeling the same way. He’s due for a bit of a letdown game and Atlanta controls the clock.

Texans having too many running plays where the O-line just plain gets beat and ends up with a 4 yard loss. Keeping running the ball is good, even if you're just picking up one, but you can't have sack-like losses this frequently.

Fant and Patterson both got beat bad last series. This last one was the TE and receiver, looked like they just released to the next level after a brief block. Not sure if they were expecting the other to stay on him, or if the RT should have been involved or what (he went to the second level right at the snap).

Texans defense to spend halftime listening to someone bark out cadence and practice not jumping offsides.

Houston takes the lead 9-7 with a FG at the end of the half. I'm not sure knocking the pass down at the line wasn't for the best for Houston. It was going to be close if Woods would have gotten into the end zone. There was a defender closing, might have run out of clock if it had been complete.

Prevent defense again prevents a win. Seriously when will coaches learn? It’s one of the most bizarre defensive strategies that almost never works and yet coaches go to it still.
