I won't say I can't stand him. He's still an above average TE. But yes there's still a lot of room for improvement there.

To be fair, our style is to chase 3rd round or lower project TEs. I think we need to buck up and pay up to get one if we want to have a better hit rate

I feel like he plays so soft. TEs are supposed to be big, rugged, and strong. Too bad Brevin Jordan got hurt because Schultz has been an absolute zero this season. I'd rather see Stover in there.

I feel like he plays so soft. TEs are supposed to be big, rugged, and strong. Too bad Brevin Jordan got hurt because Schultz has been an absolute zero this season. I'd rather see Stover in there.

Schultz has probably been the 2nd best TE the Texans have ever had. Only one I can think of that I might compare is Ryan Griffin. And he was just never as big of a part of the passing game. Granted he didn't have CJ throwing to him, if he did maybe I could see him putting the results Schultz did.

But yeah I don't disagree they could stand to improve there. I'm not sure that I'd put it ahead of safety and guard right now in terms of needs. At least this season. The depth at WR makes up a bit for TE.

Can’t believe I didn’t pickup the Texans defense this week. #1 pressure defense just hadn’t shown up in the sacks or turnovers. But against a rookie starter? Should have known. Will Anderson 3 sacks alone today.

Nice to get a win in NE for the first time ever.
