Wow. I don't know if Chambers dropped a pass today. This is NOT the same Chris Chambers that played in Miami.

He keeps this up and he's going to have a GREAT season!

I wish I still wasn't holding that grudge against him for those past years during my draft this year

Last year, Chambers had much better numbers in San Diego than in Miami. He caught roughly 60% of his targets in San Diego, compared to 47% in Miami IIRC. A WR's performance is influenced by a lot of external factors - how good his QB and offensive teammates are and how he is used (i.e., playcalling). Plus, playing for a contender can be a motivator.

Chambers was AWESOME in San Diego last year. His stats didn't reflect how well he played, but he caught everything in sight. The only reasons his numbers weren't through the roof are because it took a little time to assimilate into the offense, and there weren't enough footballs to go around for everyone. Now with Gates at possibly less than optimal strength, LT clearly nowhere near 100%, and Philip Rivers playing exceptionally well, Chambers could very well turn in a Pro Bowl caliber season.
