The 2022 NFL Draft Thread (1 Viewer)

As a Texans fan, preferred “Sauce” Gardner at corner, great nickname! Got to see a little of him since Cinci is in the same conference as UofH but not enough to have a real opinion.

So the earliest CB ever taken is a guy who was last good 3 years ago?
Yeah, this is why I don't like the pick much. Not someone you take with the third pick. Wanted their favorite OT their. Would have been content with Sauce if not. Of the two, he's the safer pick and has high potential too I think.

He'll be tested in 2022: Allen (x2), Waddle/Hill (x2), Burrow, Watson (maybe), Rodgers, Wilson.

Expect some ups and downs in year 1, like Surtain in year 1. Long-term, he should be very good.
Hill TBD. He doesn’t have Mahomes throwing to him. I’m just sayin.

Rookie corner rule for ff. (For those of us where corner is required)

like that pick for the NYG,  my preference, and seriously what do I know, would have been Sauce but he was gone.   Neal, Cross, Ekwonu still there. Expect the panthers to take 1.

Correct. But Tua was very good with a clean pocket in 2021 and also good on throws over 20 yards (but less than 50). He panics when the pocket breaks down, but the oline should be better in 2022; it was very bad in 2021. I'm optimistic.

Jameson Williams and G Wilson still available for NYJ.  Or defense, Hamilton, Johnson. Good choices still available.
