The 2022 NFL Draft Thread (1 Viewer)

As there is talk about players who slid, it always makes me wonder, how many players would that have happened to but for a having single team having taken them 'where expected' when no one else would have.

We just wouldn't know. Like if Pittsburgh hadn't taken Pickett, might he have ended up still undrafted too? There's no way to know, short of another team saying "we planned to take him at X".

Well I think it's almost official. This was probably the worst QB class in the last 20 years. Even 2002, 2007, and 2013 were better than this dumpster fire.

I am fairly certain the Steelers were the only team that had a first round grade on Pickett. He is a good fit for them. But yes this entire QB class would have a 3rd-7th round grade in any year where there was an actual great QB or two in the mix.

I don’t believe Vikings even scouted a QB in this draft.  And I won’t be surprised if they send Mond to IR in early September.
