The 2022 NFL Draft Thread (1 Viewer)

At some point, you'd like everyone involved to realize there isn't any QB worth talking about, so maybe talk about the other positions on the field. These are draft fans, true junkies, stop prattling on about QB like no one has ever heard about any other position.

Indy with 2 picks coming up, Matt Ryan is 37, maybe someone finally gambles on a QB?

Edit: Strike 1

They overly focus on the QBs every year apparently even when none are picked. Just brutally bad coverage.

Matt Miller @nfldraftscout

NFL source just text me: "Either Nakobe Dean has horrible medicals or is a serial killer. I just don’t get it."
Torn pec, now reportedly a busted shoulder that he opted to not have surgery on. Not great to have multiple major injuries and then not have surgery.

Nice spot for Ridder. Mariota is no barrier to the starting job IMO. And a 3rd round investment is no barrier to replacing next year if he doesn't show a lot of promise

Wonder how the media got Willis so wrong. Clearly the NFL teams were not considering him, yet most mocks seemed to have 2-3 QBs in the first round.

Ritter is, like Allen was, very inaccurate. He’s going to need seasoning.

Marriota looked pretty good in relief of Carr. And in TEN he was never allowed to use his legs.

I don’t doubt Ritter will get some play, but I’m betting MM starts and plays most of the year.

If Atlanta's goal is to shadow tank, that would definitely be the route to go!

all these teams not drafting QBs has to increase Baker Mayfield's value on the market right?  It shows nobody thinks these rookie QBs are starters.
I was thinking the opposite. Teams happy waiting until next year. Right now I take Willis over Mayfield straight up. Need to discount Mayfields salary dropping him even lower.

QBs are the most expensive position in football. I think teams should take more shots on mid-round talent there.
a lot of guys flying under the radar in the league never get a fair shot.  Reduce practice reps and preseason doesn’t help
