The 2022 NFL Draft Thread (1 Viewer)

Balt taking a punter.  Not expecting a rebound year from Lamar I suppose.  They know what's up.

The kid has also made pressure kicks.

He's got a chance to be good.
Oh yeah, as a former kicker, I certainly don't dismiss their potential nor importance. My main complaint with the NFL is that they had no idea who is good and who isn't because the college ball and hash width (that the goalposts correspond to) was so different from the pro versions of both.

That, and the amount of times teams spend on special teams is absolutely nil. The recruiting was broken up until recently, and the cream of the crop didn't go to the best schools, because your best kicker in college is usually an ex-soccer player that quit during high school while the football kicker (who was from the soccer reject pool very early) wasn't even as good as the guys on the soccer team.

It's a late-blooming thing, and college programs aren't with it.

Tells you what this dude from CBS knows.  The Browns did need a kicker it was a need.  This guy has a lot of bad takes on picks through out the years.

Cade York K, LSU

Height: 6-1, Weight: 198

Probably the premier K in this class, but not a giant need for the Browns and this is early to pick a specialist. (Chris Trapasso)

D+

Tyler Badie, maybe?

Nope. A corner from a HBCU. Fayetteville St. Joshua Williams. Nice.

Huh, so the nickname has no value? Is that what you’re saying?! Unpossible.

Dang, was hoping Austin would fall to Houston or we’d come up to get him. Steelers have a ton of WR now. Not loving what I’m seeing having Claypool on my team too.

I don't know.  He's built more like Dionte.

Chase Claypool - 6' 4", 238 lbs

Calvin Austin III — a 5-7, 170-pound slot receiver
Right. But they also drafted this guy named George Pickens in the 2nd. - He’s 6’3”, 195lbs if that matters.

Thats two more bodies angling to get on the field with Dionte and solid competition for a guy in Claypool whom was proving to be somewhat unreliable and a bit of a head case last year.

They got rid of Ju-Ju.

Pickens comes with the head-case rep.

Have to see how it plays out.
