Apple would be better served to not do these big events except when there is actually a breakthrough product. Announcing nothing new that wasn't known for iOS7 and trying to act like the iPad is useful with iWorks isn't anything special. A cheap iphone or the 5S semi-upgrade also doesn't wow anybody and just comes off as disappointing.

 
Have a 4 that is well past it's contract period. Waiting to see if Apple "wow's" me today to upgrade or if I'm going to be switching to either a Note 3 or S4. Giving up unlimited will kind of suck but tracking my data I don't come close to a 3GB a month plan.

Only thing that will suck is that text messaging on any plan has gone up $5 from my old one.

I don't get why anyone would need 32 GB on a 4 inch screen. I find it painful doing anything with my iPhone other than skimming emails, listening to music, and making phone calls. My eyes and hands hurt using it. Its a great compact music player though.

I don't get why anyone would need 32 GB on a 4 inch screen. I find it painful doing anything with my iPhone other than skimming emails, listening to music, and making phone calls. My eyes and hands hurt using it. Its a great compact music player though.

I have an 8 GB one that has zero music and zero movies on it. I dont know what takes up so much space but I would like more GB so I can have music and movies

I have a 32 GB now, and could not imagine having less. Pics, music, videos take up a lot of space.

Yeah. The 4 inch screen stuff is just silly anyways. Wish these guys had an SD slot or something.

Those Cs may sell, but man are they ugly and the matching color wallpaper sure makes it tougher to view IMO. Apple and Tim Cook just feel lame anymore. I still have my 5, and I won't be switching this year or upgrading, but they need to make the 6 something special, or Samsung will likely have a new customer next fall.

Why would anyone buy this when it's the worst kept secret ever that they are already working on a larger redesign. Wait a year and get an actual "new" device.

I'm not buying Sammy anymore. They really are kinda cheap when you look at them internally. I'd rather the HTC One build over Sammy plastic.

Because my iphone 4 is a POS right now. I'll buy this now & 18 months later will buy the 6
 
I dont know what "new" thing people could be wanting or waiting for. OUtside of a battery that charges by the kinetic energy picked up by the person walking or a built in 1080p projector I can't think of anything that would be OMG game changing.

Right. Save the event for that though. A new chip and camera lens doesn't warrant an invitation only event and blog. Just do an ad.

agreed. I have had the 4 for a while and it still works, but I have zero space left on it and want to go bigger. This seems like the right time for me. I don't want to wait another year. And while I may be able to get some cash for the 4 by selling it, I'll give it to one of my kids to use as an iPod.

There are a few big features the iPhone still lacks, but I wouldn't expect Apple to ever include. Not sure why they are so stubborn about things like screen size, removable storage, and widgets.

I somewhat agree. Remember all the "The Spec is dead" talk regarding Apple a couple years ago? LOL at that in light of today's announcement.
